மரக்கறிகளின் விலையில் வீழ்ச்சி

பொருளாதார நிலையங்களில் மரக்கறிகளின் விலை வேகமாக வீழ்ச்சியடைந்து வருவதாக விவசாயிகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.

சில மரக்கறி வகைகளின் ஒரு கிலோவின் மொத்த விலை 50 முதல் 70 ரூபாய் வரை குறைந்துள்ளதாக விவசாயிகள் சுட்டிக்காட்டுகின்றனர்.

பொருளாதார நிலையங்களில் ஒரு கிலோ உள்ளூர் உருளைக்கிழங்கின் விலை இன்னும் குறைந்த விலையில் இருப்பதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.

இறக்குமதி செய்யப்படும் உருளைக்கிழங்குகளுக்கு அரசாங்கம் வரி விதித்துள்ள போதிலும், நாட்டில் உருளைக்கிழங்கு கையிருப்பு இருப்பதால் விவசாயிகள் பொருளாதார நெருக்கடிகளுக்குள்ளாகியுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.

Decline in the prices of vegetables

Farmers are reporting that the prices of vegetables are rapidly declining in the markets.

They point out that the total price of certain vegetable varieties has dropped from 50 to 70 rupees per kilogram.

It is also reported that the price of locally grown potatoes remains at a relatively low level in the markets.

Although the government has imposed a tax on imported potatoes, farmers are facing economic difficulties as there is an abundant supply of potatoes in the country.
