உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பின் 78ஆவது பிராந்திய மாநாடு ஆரம்பம்

உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பின் (WHO) தென் மற்றும் தென்கிழக்கு ஆசியாவிற்கான 78ஆவது பிராந்திய மாநாடு இன்று திங்கட்கிழமை கொழும்பில் ஆரம்பமாகிறது.

இந்த மாநாடு மூன்று நாள் நடைபெறும் எனத் தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.

இந்த மாநாட்டில் உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பின் பணிப்பாளர் நாயகம் வைத்தியர் டெட்ரோஸ் அதானோம் கெப்ரேயஸ் (Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus), உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பின் தென்கிழக்கு ஆசிய நிறுவனத்தின் பொறுப்பதிகாரி கத்தரினா போஹ்மே (Katharina Boehme), 8 நாடுகளின் பிரதிநிதிகள், அந்த நாடுகளின் சுகாதார அமைச்சர்கள், இரு நாடுகளின் தூதுவர்கள் மற்றும் உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பின் நிபுணர்கள் ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொள்கின்றனர்.

இதேவேளை, இந்த மாநாட்டில் அடுத்த ஆண்டிற்கான பிராந்திய சுகாதார நிகழ்ச்சி நிரலும் தயாரிக்கப்படும் எனத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

78th Regional Conference of the World Health Organization Begins

The 78th Regional Conference of the World Health Organization (WHO) for South and Southeast Asia begins today, Monday, in Colombo.

The conference is scheduled to be held over three days.

Participating in the conference are WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Regional Director for WHO Southeast Asia, Katherina Boehme, representatives from eight countries, health ministers of those nations, ambassadors from two countries, and WHO experts.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that the regional health program for the coming year will also be formulated during this conference.
