முடிவுக்கு வந்தது விண்டோஸ் 10

2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட விண்டோஸ் 10 இயங்குதளத்தை 14.10.2025 முதல் உத்தியோகபூர்வமாக முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவர மைக்ரோசாப்ட் நிறுவனம் தீர்மானித்துள்ளது.

இதன்படி 14.10.2025 பின்னர் விண்டோஸ் 10 இயங்கும் சாதனங்களுக்கு மிக முக்கியமான பாதுகாப்புப் புதுப்பிப்புகள் (Security Patches), தொழில்நுட்பத் திருத்தங்கள் அல்லது புதிய அம்சங்கள் எதுவும் கிடைக்காது.

உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள 41% நிறுவனங்கள் இன்னும் விண்டோஸ் 10 இயங்குதளத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துவதாகவும், இதனால் பாதுகாப்புச் சிக்கல்கள் ஏற்படலாம் என்றும் வெளிநாட்டு ஊடகங்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.

இந்தநிலையில் மைக்ரோசாஃப்ட் நிறுவனம் பயனர்களை விண்டோஸ் 11க்கு மேம்படுத்துமாறு (Upgrade) வலியுறுத்திவருகிறது. இருப்பினும் எல்லா கணினிகளும் அந்த மேம்பாட்டை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது.

இத்தகைய பயனர்கள் தொடர்ந்து பாதுகாப்பு பெற, லினக்ஸ் அல்லது குரோம் ஓஎஸ் (Chrome OS) போன்ற மாற்று இயங்குதளங்களுக்கு மாறுவது நல்லது எனப் பரிந்துரைக்கப்படுகிறது.

Windows 10 Reaches Its End

Microsoft has officially announced that support for Windows 10, which was introduced in 2015, will end on October 14, 2025.

After this date, devices running Windows 10 will no longer receive critical security updates, technical fixes, or new features.
