அஸ்வெசும நலன்புரித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் உள்ள 23,775 பயனாளிகளின் குடும்பங்களுக்கு நிதி மானியம் வழங்குவதற்கான முன்மொழிவுக்கு அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
ஒரு குடும்பத்திற்கு 150,000 ரூபாய் வரை வழங்கக்கூடிய இந்த மானியம், வணிக அல்லது வேலைவாய்ப்புத் திட்டங்கள் மூலம் வறிய குடும்பங்களின் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்கு ஆதரவளிக்க பயன்படும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அஸ்வெசும நலன்புரி உதவித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தற்போது சலுகைகளைப் பெற்று வரும் வறிய குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த 1.2 மில்லியன் குடும்பங்களை வலுவூட்டும் பொறுப்பு சமுர்த்தி அபிவிருத்தித் திணைக்களத்திடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அத்துடன் இதன் முன்னோடித் திட்டங்கள் ஆசிய அபிவிருத்தி வங்கி மற்றும் உலக வங்கி ஆகியவற்றின் நிதி மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப உதவியுடன் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன.

Good News for Aswesuma Beneficiaries
The Cabinet has approved a proposal to provide financial grants to 23,775 beneficiary families across all districts under the Aswesuma Welfare Program.
Each family will be eligible to receive up to Rs. 150,000, which will be used to support livelihoods through entrepreneurial or employment-based initiatives, according to official sources.
The responsibility for strengthening the 1.2 million low-income families currently receiving benefits under the Aswesuma Welfare Assistance Program has been entrusted to the Samurdhi Development Department.
Furthermore, the pilot projects of this initiative are being implemented with financial and technical assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank.
