காலி – கட்டுகொட ரயில் தண்டவாளத்தின் குறுக்கே மரம் ஒன்று முறிந்து விழுந்ததால் கொழும்பு நோக்கிச் செல்லும் சாகரிகா அலுவலக ரயில் சேவை இடைநிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.

இதனால் கடலோரப் பாதையில் ரயில் சேவைகள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக இலங்கை ரயில்வே திணைக்களம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

மரத்தினை அப்புறப்படுத்தும் வேலைத்திட்டம் முன்னெடுக்கப்படுவதாகவும் குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றது.

Tree Falls Across Railway Track

Train services on the coastal line have been disrupted after a tree fell across the Galle–Katugoda railway track, according to reports.

As a result, the Sagarika office train service heading towards Colombo has been temporarily suspended.

The Sri Lanka Railways Department stated that train operations along the coastal route have been affected.

Efforts are currently underway to remove the fallen tree from the tracks.
