வாகனங்களுக்குப் பொருந்தக்கூடிய அதிகபட்ச குத்தகை விகிதங்களை Revision of Lease Rates for Vehicles திருத்தியமைக்க இலங்கை மத்திய வங்கி முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.
அதன்படி, வணிக வாகனங்களுக்கான அதிகபட்ச விகிதம் 70 சதவீதமாகக் குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதுடன், தனியார் வாகனங்களுக்கான வரம்பு 50 சதவீதமாக நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இந்த ஆண்டு ஜூலை மாதம், மத்திய வங்கி வணிக வாகனங்களுக்கு 80 சதவீதம் வரை, தனியார் வாகனங்களுக்கு 60 சதவீதம் வரை, முச்சக்கர வண்டிகளுக்கு 50 சதவீதம் வரை மற்றும் பிற வாகனங்களுக்கு 70 சதவீதம் வரை குத்தகை வசதிகளை அனுமதித்திருந்தது.
இருப்பினும், புதிய திருத்தத்தின் கீழ், ஜூலையில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட நான்கு பிரிவுகள் இரண்டு முக்கிய குழுக்களாக ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
அதன்படி, வணிக வாகனங்களுக்கான பிரிவொன்றும் சிற்றூந்து, சிற்றூர்தி, முச்சக்கர வண்டிகள் மற்றும் பிற வாகனங்களுக்கான பிரிவொன்றும் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

Revision of Lease Rates for Vehicles
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to revise the maximum lease rates applicable to vehicles.
Accordingly, the maximum rate for commercial vehicles has been reduced to 70 percent, while the limit for private vehicles has been set at 50 percent.
In July this year, the Central Bank had permitted lease facilities up to 80 percent for commercial vehicles, 60 percent for private vehicles, 50 percent for three-wheelers, and 70 percent for other vehicles.
However, under the new revision, the four categories introduced in July have now been consolidated into two main groups.
Accordingly, one category has been introduced for commercial vehicles, and another for small vans, cars, three-wheelers, and other vehicles.
