1,140 சதுர அடி பரப்பளவில் பரந்து விரிந்துள்ள இந்த சிலந்தி வலை 110,000க்கும் மேற்பட்ட சிலந்திகளின் தாயகமாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.

World’s Largest Spider Web Discovered
A team of scientists has discovered the world’s largest spider web inside a dark underground cave located on the Albania–Greece border.
Spanning an area of 1,140 square feet, this massive web is said to be home to over 110,000 spiders.
The cave receives very little sunlight, and scientists report that it contains high levels of toxic hydrogen sulfide gas.
Researchers have now begun studying how such an enormous spider web could have formed under these extreme environmental conditions.
The web is located approximately 50 meters from the cave’s entrance, and interestingly, two different species of spiders are found living there.
