The strengthening of the US dollar globally and precautionary movements among investors have also contributed to the decrease in gold prices.

Accordingly, in the international market, one ounce of gold is being sold at 5,171.26 US dollars today.

Meanwhile, one ounce of silver is being sold at 85.35 US dollars.
