Weather Forecast

According to a statement issued by the Department of Meteorology, showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts, after 2.00 p.m. today (25).

The report further states that mainly dry weather will prevail in other parts of the country.

Misty conditions can be expected during the early morning in some areas of the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, and Uva Provinces, along with the Galle and Matara districts.

The Department of Meteorology has also requested the public to take necessary precautions to minimize potential damages caused by temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
