கடந்த நவம்பர் 10ஆம் திகதி ஆரம்பமான உயர்தரப் பரீட்சைகள், இடையில் ஏற்பட்ட ‘டிட்வா’ புயல் காரணமாகப் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
இதனால் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்ட சில பாடங்களுக்கான பரீட்சைகள், கடந்த ஜனவரி 12 முதல் 20 வரை மீள நடத்தப்பட்டமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

A/L Results Expected Before the New Year
The Commissioner General of Examinations has stated that it is expected to release the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination results before the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. He also noted that the final stages of preparation for releasing the results are currently being carried out swiftly.
The A/L examinations, which commenced on November 10, were affected due to the ‘TIDWA’ cyclone that occurred during the period.
As a result, examinations for several postponed subjects were reconducted from January 12 to 20.
