திரு. யோ. ஜெயச்சந்திரன் – வட மாகாண கல்வி பணிப்பாளராக புதிய நியமனம்
வட மாகாண கல்வி பணிப்பாளராக நேற்று திங்கட்கிழமை (21.07.2025) பதவியேற்ற கிழக்கு மாகாணத்தின் முன்னாள் மூத்த கல்வி நிர்வாக பணிப்பாளர் திரு.யோ.ஜெயச்சந்திரன் அவர்களுக்கு மாற்றம் தகவல் ஊடகம் சார்பாக வாழ்த்துக்கள்.
அம்பாறை மாவட்டத்தில் திருக்கோவில் கிராமத்தில் 1975.01.09 பிறந்த இவர் தனது ஆரம்ப கல்வியினை திருக்கோவில் மெதடிஸ்த மிசன் தமிழ்மகா வித்தியாலத்தில் தொடர்ந்ததுடன் உயர் கல்வியினை கல்முனை கார்மேல் பற்றிமா கல்லூரியில் கற்று உயர்தரத்தில் சிறந்த பெறுபேற்றினை பெற்று முகாமைத்துவ துறையில் கிழக்கு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இளமானி பட்டப்படிப்பை பூர்த்தி செய்தார்.
பாடசாலை காலத்தில் இருந்து பல்கலைக்கழகம் வரை விளையாட்டில் ஆர்வமாக செயற்பட்டதுடன் நல்லொழுக்கம் மிக்கவராகவும் திகழ்ந்தார். பல்கலைக்கழக கல்வியினை முடித்துக்கொண்டு பட்டதாரியாக அரசதுறையில் கல்குடா கல்வி வலயத்தில் களஞ்சிய பொறுப்பாளராக கடமையாற்றிக் கொண்டிருந்த வேளையில் இலங்கை கல்வி நிருவாக சேவைப் போட்டிப்பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடைந்த இவர் 2005.08.01 இல் இலங்கை கல்வி நிருவாக சேவைக்குள் உள்ளீர்க்கப்பட்டு தனது பிறந்த மண்ணான திருக்கோவில் கல்வி வலயத்தின் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளராக சேவை புரிந்ததுடன் கிழக்கு மாகாணத்தின் கல்வித் திணைக்களத்தில் கல்வித்துறைக்கான உதவிப் பணிப்பாளராக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில் 2023.01.22 ஆம் திகதி அன்று மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு கல்வி வலயப் பணிப்பாளராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டு சிறப்பான சேவையினை படுவான்கரை பகுதியில் ஆற்றியிருந்தார்.
கல்வி வலயங்களில் அதிகஸ்ட பாடசாலைகளை அதிகம் கொண்ட ஒரு கல்விவலயமாக பௌதீக மற்றும் ஆசிரியர் வளம் குறைவாக காணப்பட்ட இந்த கல்வி வலயத்தினை தனது நேர்மையான மற்றும் மனிதாபிமானம் மிக்க சிறந்த தலைமைத்துவத்தின் கீழ் பல்வேறு சவால்களை தாண்டி
சிறப்பான வலயமாக இலங்கையின் 100 கல்வி வலயங்களினுள் 25ஆவது கல்வி வலயமாக முன்னேற்றியமைக்கு இவரின் சிறந்த தலைமைத்துவமும் நிருவாக திறமையுமே காரணமாகும்.
பாடசாலைக் கல்வியின் பின்னர் பல்கலைக்கழக வாய்ப்பினை தவற விட்ட அல்லது பாடசாலைக்கல்வியினைப் பூர்த்தி செய்ய முடியாத மாணவர்களிற்கான வாழ்வியலும் வழிகாட்டலும் செயற்பாட்டினை முன்னெடுத்துவரும் VCOT சமுதாய கல்லூரியின் சேவையினை மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு கல்வி வலயத்தினுள் செயற்படுத்துவதற்காக கரடியனாறு பாடசாலையின் ஆசிரியர்கள் விடுதியாக இருந்த ஒரு பகுதியினை உடன்படிக்கையின் அடிப்படையிலே வழங்கி இந்த பகுதியில் காணப்படும் பாடசாலையை விட்டு வெளியேறிய மாணவர்களுக்கான அடிப்படை கணினி மற்றும் ஆங்கில பயிற்சியுடன் அவர்களுக்கான வாழ்வியல் வழிகாட்டல் பயிற்சிகள் மற்றும் செயற்பாடுகளை மேற்கொள்வதற்கு வழியமைத்தார்.
இந்த நிலையில் மனித நேய நம்பிக்கை நிதியத்தின் அனுசரணையில் விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையினூடாக விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியால் மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு கல்வி வலயத்துடன் இணைந்து நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்படும் கரடியனாறு மனித நேயம் சமுதாயக் கல்லூரியில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கான சான்றிதழ் வழங்கும் நிகழ்வு கரடியனாறு சமுதாயக் கல்லூரியில் இடம்பெற்றது.
குறித்த சான்றிதழ் வழங்கும் நிகழ்விலும் கலந்துகொண்டு தனது வாழ்க்கை மற்றும் அனுபவங்களை சிறப்பான முறையில் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டமை மாணவர்களிற்கு சிறந்த உந்து சக்தியாக அமைந்ததுடன் இது அவரின் படுவான்கரை பகுதியின் சேவையின் இறுதி நாட்களாக அமைந்திருந்தது.
ஜெயச்சந்திரன் அவர்கள் சிறந்த நேர்மை மற்றும் தமிழ் பற்றுடன் கல்வித்துறையில் தனது மகத்தான பணியை வழங்கியதன் பலனாக மாகாணத்துக்கான கல்வி பணிப்பாளராக அவர் நியமனம் பெற்றுச் செல்வது எமது சமூகத்திற்கு பெருமையளிக்கின்றது.
தனது பதவியை பொறுப்பெடுத்துக்கொண்ட திரு.யோ.ஜெயச்சந்திரன் அவர்களுக்கு கல்லூரி விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்ப கல்லூரி சார்ந்து வாழ்த்துக்களைத் தெரிவிப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சி.

Mr. Y. Jayachandran – New Appointment as Northern Provincial Director of Education
Congratulations to Mr. Y. Jayachandran, former Senior Director of Education of the Eastern Province, who took office as the Northern Provincial Director of Education yesterday, Monday (21.07.2025), on behalf of the Media Information Center.
Born on 1975.01.09 in Thirukovil village, Ampara district, he continued his primary education at Thirukovil Methodist Mission Tamil Maha Vidyalaya and furthered his higher education at Kalmunai Carmel College, obtaining excellent results in the Advanced Level and completing his Bachelor’s degree in Management from the Eastern University.
From school to university, he was interested in sports and was also a virtuous person. After completing his university education and graduating as a graduate, while serving as a warehouse manager in the Kalkudda Education Zone in the government department, he passed the Sri Lanka Educational Administrative Service Competitive Examination. He was absorbed into the Sri Lanka Educational Administrative Service on 2005.08.01 and served as the Director of Education of his native Thirukovil Education Zone. He was appointed as the Assistant Director of Education in the Department of Education of the Eastern Province. On 2023.01.22, he was appointed as the Director of Batticaloa West Education Zone and rendered distinguished service in the Paduwankarai area.
His excellent leadership and administrative skills are the reason why this education zone, which was considered to be one of the educational zones with the highest number of schools, has overcome various challenges and progressed to the 25th position out of 100 education zones in Sri Lanka under his honest and humane leadership.
He provided an area of the Karadiyanaru School’s teachers’ hostel on the basis of an agreement to implement the services of VCOT Community College, which provides life guidance and guidance to students who have missed out on university opportunities or who could not complete their school education after school, within the Batticaloa West Education Zone, and paved the way for basic computer and English training for school dropouts in this area, as well as life guidance training and activities for them.
In this context, the certificate presentation ceremony for the students studying at Karadiyanaru Humanity Community College, which is implemented by Vivekananda Community Trust through Vivekananda Community Trust in collaboration with the Batticaloa Western Education Zone, was held at Karadiyanaru Community College.
His participation in the certificate presentation ceremony and sharing his life and experiences in a special way was a great motivation for the students and this marked the last days of his service in the Paduvankarai area.
As a result of his great work in the education sector with great integrity and Tamil devotion, it is a matter of pride for our community that Mr. Jayachandran has been appointed as the Director of Education for the Province.
