விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது தமது சமூக மாற்றத்திற்கான செயற்பாடுகளை விரிவுபடுத்தும் வண்ணம் காரைதீவு பிரதேசத்தில் இராமகிருஸ்ண மிஷனுடன் இணைந்து சமுதாய கல்லூரி முறைமையில் கணினி கற்கை பிரிவு ஒன்றினை காரைதீவு சாரதா இல்ல வளாகத்தில் தோற்றுவித்து மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் இளைஞர்களிற்கான வாழ்வியலும் வழிகாட்டல் சேவைகளை வழங்கிவருகின்றது.
அந்த வகையில் சுவாமி விபுலானந்தரின் நூற்றாண்டு தினத்தை சிறப்பிக்கும் வகையில் இராமகிருஸ்ண மிஷனின் அனுசரணையில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் ஏற்பாட்டில் நடாத்தப்படுகின்ற மாதம் ஒரு செயலமர்வின் முதலாவது செயலமர்வானது இராமகிருஷ்ணமிஷன் தலைமையில் சுவாமி விபுலானந்தர் பிறந்த காரைதீவு மண்ணில் சிறந்த முறையில் இடம்பெற்றது. இந்நிகழ்வில் மட்டக்களப்பு கல்லடி இராமகிருஷ்ண மிஷனின் பொது முகாமையாளர் ஸ்ரீமத் சுவாமிஜி நீலமாதவானந்தஜி மகராஜ், கல்லூரியின் நிறைவேற்றுப்பணிப்பாளர் திரு.க.பிரதீஸ்வரன் மற்றும் கல்லூரியின் சேவையாளர்கள் என பலரும் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
அந்தவகையில் ஸ்ரீமத் சுவாமிஜி நீலமாதவானந்தஜி மகராஜ் அவர்களின் ஆன்மீக உரையினை தொடர்ந்து கல்லூரியின் பணிப்பாளர் அவர்களினால் இளைஞர்களிற்கான தொழில்வழிகாட்டலின் தேவை பற்றிய ஆக்கபூர்வமான கருத்துக்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து விபுலானந்தரின் நூற்றாண்டினை சிறப்பிக்கும் வகையில் கல்லூரியின் வாழ்வியலும் வழிகாட்டல் பயிற்சியாளர்கள் குழுவால் இளைஞர்களுக்கான தொழில் வழிகாட்டல் செயலமர்வானது சிறப்பான முறையில் இடம்பெற்றமை குறிப்பிடதக்கவிடயமாகும்.
20 இளைஞர்கள் கலந்து கொண்ட இச்செயலமர்வில் இளைஞர்கள் தமது இலக்கினை அடையாளப்படுத்துவது பற்றியும் தமது இலக்கினை அடைவதற்கான வழிமுறைகள் ,அதற்காக வளர்த்துக் கொள்ளவேண்டிய திறன்கள், அவர்களது இலக்கினை சரியாக அடையாளங்கண்டு அதற்காக படிப்படியாக முயற்சி செய்வதன் மூலம் இலகுவில் இலக்கினை அடையவது பற்றியும் தெளிவூட்டப்பட்டதோடு மட்டுமன்றி பிரச்சினைகளை தீர்த்தல் எனும் தலைப்பில் இளைஞர்கள் எதிர்நோக்கும் பிரச்சினைகள் மற்றும் அதனை இலகுவில் தீர்க்கும் வழிமுறைகள் பற்றிய தெளிவூட்டல்களும் பல்வேறுபட்ட செயற்பாடுகளின் மூலம் இளைஞர்களுக்கு மிகச்சிறப்பான முறையில் தெளிவூட்டப்பட்டது.
சுவாமி விபுலானந்தர் பிறந்த மண்ணான காரைதீவில் அவரது நூற்றாண்டு தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு நடைபெற்ற இச் செயலமர்வு இளைஞர்களுக்கு தொழில் வழிகாட்டலை மட்டுமன்றி அவர்களின் வாழ்வியல் திறன்களையும் அடையாளப் படுத்துவதாக அமைந்திருந்தமை குறிப்பிட்டதக்க விடயமாகும்.

Career Guidance Workshop in Commemoration of Swami Vipulananda’s Centennial Celebration
Vivekananda College of Technology, in its continuous efforts to drive social transformation, has collaborated with the Ramakrishna Mission to establish a computer education division under the community college model. This initiative is based at the Saratha Illam premises in Karaitivu and aims to provide both career guidance and life skills training to students and youth in the region.
In line with these efforts, and to commemorate the centenary of Swami Vipulananda, the institute organized the first session of its “One Workshop per Month” initiative. The session was held in Karaitivu, the birthplace of Swami Vipulananda, under the guidance and sponsorship of the Ramakrishna Mission. The event saw the presence of Srimath Swamiji Neelamadhavanandaji Maharaj, General Manager of the Ramakrishna Mission in Kallady, Mr. K. Pratheeswaran, Executive Director of the institute, and several staff members from the college.
Following a spiritual address by Srimath Swamiji Neelamadhavanandaji Maharaj, Mr. Pratheeswaran delivered an inspiring talk emphasizing the importance of career guidance for youth in today’s world. His speech highlighted the need for structured support in helping young people set goals and achieve meaningful careers.
As part of the centenary event, the institute’s Life Skills and Career Guidance Trainers conducted a career guidance workshop specifically designed for youth. The session was both informative and engaging, offering practical tools for self-discovery and personal growth. It was attended by 20 participants who explored various topics such as identifying personal goals, developing the necessary skills to achieve them, and taking step-by-step action toward success.
The workshop also included an important segment on problem-solving, addressing common challenges faced by youth and equipping them with strategies to overcome them effectively. Through various interactive exercises and discussions, participants gained clarity and confidence in navigating their personal and professional paths.
This commemorative event, held in Swami Vipulananda’s birthplace, stood out not only as a tribute to his legacy but also as a meaningful contribution to youth empowerment. It served to guide participants in their career choices while simultaneously helping them recognize and strengthen their life skills. The institute extends its gratitude for the continued support toward its ongoing guidance programs.
