ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்சிநெறியைப் பூர்த்தி செய்த மாணவர்களுக்கான சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கும் நிகழ்வு
விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது பின்தங்கிய பிரதேசங்கள் மற்றும் தேவைப்பாடுடைய மாணவர்களின் மத்தியில் ஆங்கில மொழியில் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வினை ஏற்படுத்தும் வண்ணம் AU lanka நிறுவனத்தின் அனுசரணையுடன் மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு வவுணதீவு பிரதேச செயலகப் பிரிவிற்குட்பட்ட விளாவெட்டுவான், இலுப்பட்டிச்சேனை மற்றும் நெடியமடு ஆகிய கிராமங்களை மையப்படுத்தியதாக ஆங்கிலப் பாடநெறியை வடிவமைத்து அக்கிராமங்களை அண்டிய மாணவர்களுக்கான விசேட ஆங்கில வகுப்புகளையும் 6 மாத கால பயிற்சி நெறியாக மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றது.
அதனடிப்படையில் இப்பயிற்சியினைப் பூர்த்தி செய்த இரண்டாவது தொகுதி பயிலுனர்களுக்கான சான்றிதழ் வழங்கும் நிகழ்வானது மண்முனை மேற்கு பிரதேச செயலகத்தில் நேற்று செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை இடம்பெற்றது.
விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் நிறைவேற்றுப் பணிப்பாளர் க.பிரதீஸ்வரன் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில் மண்முனை மேற்கு பிரதேச செயலாளர் திருமதி.சத்தியானந்தி நமசிவாயம் பிரதம அதிதியாகக் கலந்துகொண்டார். மேலும் AU Lanka நிறுவனத்தின் நிகழ்ச்சித்திட்ட இணைப்பாளர் திருமதி.அனுலா அன்ரன் விசேட அதிதியாகவும் கலந்து சிறப்பித்ததோடு விவேகானந்த குடும்பத்தின் சேவையாளர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
3 கிராமங்களிலிருந்தும் இப்பயிற்சியைப் பூர்த்திr செய்த 80 பயிலுனர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு தமக்கான சான்றிதழ்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதோடு கடந்த சுற்றாடல் தினத்தினை முன்னிட்டு சுற்றுச்சூழல் என்னும் தலைப்பை தொனிப் பொருளாக கொண்டு நடாத்தப்பட்டிருந்த பேச்சுப்போட்டி மற்றும் நாடகப் போட்டி போன்ற போட்டிகளில் சிறப்பான முறையில் வெற்றியீட்டிய மாணவர்களுக்கான பரிசில்களும் வழங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது.
The Last Tree என்னும் தலைப்பிலான நாடகமும் Students can go green என்னும் தலைப்பில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற பேச்சும் இடம்பெற்றதோடு இச்செயற்பாட்டின் மூலம் மாணவர்களிடையே ஆங்கில மொழியின் அவசியம் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வானது சென்றடைந்தது மட்டுமன்றி மாணவர்களின் அனுபவப்பகிர்வும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் இடம்பெற்றமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்க விடயமாகும்.

Certificate presentation ceremony for students who completed the English training course
Vivekananda College of Technology, with the support of AU Lanka, has designed an English course focusing on the villages of Vilavettuvan, Ilupattichenai and Nediyamadu under the Batticaloa West Vavunathivu Divisional Secretariat Division, with the aim of creating awareness among the underprivileged and needy students about the importance of the English language, and is also conducting special English classes for the students who ruled those villages as a 6-month training course.
Accordingly, the certificate presentation ceremony for the second batch of trainees who completed the training was held at the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat yesterday, Tuesday.
The event was chaired by the Executive Director of Vivekananda College of Technology, K. Pratheeswaran, and the Manmunai West Divisional Secretary, Mrs. Sathyananthi Namasivayam, participated as the Chief Guest. Also, AU Lanka Project Coordinator Mrs. Anula Antron graced the occasion with the presence of the special guest and the servants of the Vivekananda family also participated.
80 trainees from 3 villages who completed the training attended and received their certificates. In commemoration of the last World Environment Day, prizes were given to the students who excelled in the debate and drama competition held with the topic of environment as the theme.
A play titled The Last Tree was also performed among the students to go green. It is noteworthy that not only was awareness about the importance of language reached, but also the students’ experience sharing was held in English.
