விவேகானந்ததொழிநுட்பவியல் கல்லாரியானது பல்வேறுபட்ட செயற்றிட்டங்களினூடாக பயிலுனர்கள் மத்தியில் காணப்படும் திறன்களை வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்கான களங்களை அமைத்துக்கொடுப்பதன் மூலம் அவர்களின் எதிர்கால வாழ்க்கையில் வெற்றிக்கான அடித்தளத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவதிலும் மற்றும் சமூகத்தின் மத்தியில் ஆங்கில மொழியின் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வினை ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் AU LANKA நிறுவனத்தின் அனுசரணையுடன் விவேகானந்த தொழிநுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியினால் மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு (வவுனதீவு) பிரதேச செயலக பிரிவில் உள்ள விளாவெட்டுவான், இலுப்படிச்சேனை, நெடியமடு ஆகிய கிராமங்களை மையமாக கொண்டு அவற்றினை சூழவுள்ள மாணவர்களிற்கான விசேட ஆங்கில வகுப்புக்களை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றது.
அந்த வகையில் விவேகானந்த தொழிநுட்பக் கல்லூரியின் ஒரு அங்கமாகிய கரடியனாறு மனித நேய நம்பிக்கை நிதிய சமூதாய கல்லூரியில் கற்கும் பயிலுனர்கள் மற்றும் பல்வேறுபட்ட செயற்றிட்டங்களில் விவேகானந்த தொழிநுட்பக் கல்லூரியுடன் கைகோர்கும் AU LANKA நிறுவனத்தின் செயற்றிட்டத்தில் கல்விகற்கும் விளாவெட்டுவான், நெடியமடு மற்றும் இலுப்பட்டிச்சேனை பிரதேச பயிலுனர்களையும் இணைத்து ஆங்கில மொழி திறன் போட்டியானது 07.06.2025 சனிக்கிழமை அன்று கரடியனாறு சமூதாயக்கல்லூரியில் இடம்பெற்றது.
இப்போட்டியானது சுற்றுச்சூழல் எனும் தலைப்பை கருப்பொருளாக கொண்டு பல்வேறுபட்ட தலைப்புக்களில் எழுத்துப்பயிற்சி, பேச்சுப்போட்டி மற்றும் நாடக போட்டி போன்ற போட்டிகளில் பயிலுனர்கள் தமது திறன்களை மிகசிறப்பான முறையில் வெளிப்படுத்தினர். இவ்வாறான செயற்பாடுகளின் மூலம் எதிர்வரும் காலங்களில் ஆங்கில மொழியின் அவசியம் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வானது சென்றடையும் என்பதில் எவ்வித ஐயமும் இல்லை. இச்செயற்பாட்டில் விவேகானந்த தொழிநுட்பக் கல்லூரியுடன் கைகோர்த்து செயற்படும் AU LANKA நிறுவனத்திற்கு விவேகானந்த தொழிநுட்பக் கல்லூரி நன்றி தெரிவித்தது.

Special Competitions in Karadiyanaru for Skill Development and English Awareness
Vivekananda College of Technology, through various initiatives, continues to provide platforms that help students showcase their talents, laying a strong foundation for their future success. In addition, with the aim of raising awareness in society about the importance of the English language, the college, in collaboration with AU LANKA, has launched special English classes. These classes are targeted at students from the villages of Vilavettuvan, Iluppadichchenai, and Nediyamadu, located within the Batticaloa West (Vavunatheevu) Divisional Secretariat Division.
As part of this initiative, an English language skill competition was held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Karadiyanaru Community College, which is a branch of Vivekananda College of Technology operated by the Karadiyanaru Humanitarian Trust Fund. Students from Vilavettuvan, Nediyamadu, and Iluppadichchenai who are part of the educational programs of Vivekananda College and the AU LANKA collaborative projects participated in this event.
The competition was centered around the theme of “Environment” and included a variety of contests such as essay writing, speech, and drama. The participants showcased their talents in an outstanding manner. Such activities are expected to raise significant awareness about the necessity of English language proficiency in the future. Vivekananda College of Technology expressed its sincere gratitude to AU LANKA for their collaborative support in organizing this event.
