Thai Pongal 2025: A Grand Celebration at Annai Sri Sarada Centre

On 14.01.2025, the Thai Pongal festival was celebrated with great joy and grandeur at our Annai Sri Sarada centre, located in the Puthukudiyiruppu area of Mullaitivu. Thai Pongal, a beautiful expression of Tamil heritage, turned out to be a wonderful event symbolizing unity and togetherness.

The event was graced by the presence of the institution’s president, Mr. Pon. Perinpanayagam, staff members, and children, all of whom came together to make the celebration vibrant and memorable. Dressed in traditional attire, the children performed cultural songs and dances that beautifully revived Tamil traditions and added charm to the event.

The special rituals and prayers dedicated to the Sun God were performed with reverence, offering a spiritually uplifting experience to everyone present. The grand finale was marked by the distribution of delicious, steaming hot Pongal, which served as a delightful offering, uniting everyone as one big family.
