மண்முனை தென் எருவில் பற்று பிரதேச செயலகத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கும் மாதர் அபிவிருத்தி பயிற்சி நிலையத்தில் 20 பெண்களுக்கான விசேட தொழில் திறன் மேம்பாட்டு பயிற்சி செயலமர்வு சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
இந்த நிலையத்தில் தையல், கைவினை உற்பத்தி, சிற்றுண்டி தயாரிப்பு ஆகிய தொழில்களை மையமாகக் கொண்டு 1 வருடகால பயிற்சிகளை பிரதேச செயலகத்தினால் மாதர் அபிவிருத்தி உத்தியோகத்தரின் மேற்பார்வையில் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றது. இப் பயிலுனர்களிற்கான பயிற்சியின் பின்னரான சுயதொழில் மற்றும் தொழில்வாய்ப்பினை பெறத்தக்க வழிகாட்டல் செயலமர்வினை மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தில் தொழில்பயிற்சியின் பின்னரான வேலைவாய்ப்பு மற்றும் தொழில்முயற்சியாளர்களுக்கான நிபுணத்துவ ஆலோசனையினை வழங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் அமிர்தா நிறுவனமும் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் வளவாளர்களும் இணைந்து மாதர் அபிவிருத்தி உத்தியோகத்தரின் ஒழுங்கமைப்பில் சிறப்பாக மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.
தொழில் வாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்கும் பயிற்சி
பயிற்சியில் கலந்துகொண்ட பெண்களுக்கு பயிற்சியின் பின்னரான எதிர்கால திட்டம் மற்றும் அவற்றிற்கான வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் வழங்கப்பட்துடன் பயிற்சி முடிந்த பின்பு அவர்கள் எதிர்கால வேலை வாய்ப்புகள் குறித்து கலந்தாலோசிக்கப்பட்டது. அதில், பங்குபற்றிய 90% பெண்கள் சுயதொழில் முயற்சியைத் தொடங்க விரும்பம் தெரிவித்தனர்.
தொடர்ந்து, பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றிய தெளிவூட்டல் வழங்கப்பட்டதுடன், அவர்களின் உற்பத்திகளை சந்தைப்படுத்த பொது சந்தைகளில் (Marketplace) விற்பனை செய்வது, சமூக வலைத்தளங்கள் (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) மூலம் விளம்பரம் செய்வது, வாடிக்கையாளர்களை ஈர்ப்பது போன்ற முக்கியமான அம்சங்கள் கூறப்பட்டன.

இந்நிகழ்வின் ஒரு முக்கிய அம்சமாக, தொழில் முனைவோர் தங்கள் தயாரிப்புகளை எவ்வாறு விற்பனை செய்யலாம் என்பதற்கான உதாரண விளங்கங்களுடன் தெளிவூட்டப்பட்டது.

விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் பணிப்பாளர் கூறியதாவது,
“சுயதொழில் முயற்சி என்பது ஒருவரின் வாழ்க்கையில் பொருளாதார சுயநிர்ணயத்தை (financial independence) கொண்டு வரக்கூடிய முக்கியமான அம்சமாகும்.” இந்த மாதிரியான பயிற்சிகள், சிறு தொழில்முனைவர்களை உருவாக்கி, வேலைவாய்ப்புகளை அதிகரிக்கும் ஒரு பயனுள்ள முயற்சியாக இருக்கும். இவற்றினை கருத்தில் கொண்டே இவ்வாறான தொழில்முயற்சியாளர்களை உருவாக்கும் பயிற்சிப் பட்டறைகளை தொடர்ந்து வழங்கி, சமூக பொருளாதார முன்னேற்றத்திற்கான பங்களிப்பினை வழங்குவதுடன்,

Vocational Training for Women: Workshop on Basics of Self-Employment
A special vocational skill development training workshop for 20 women was successfully held at the Mathar Development Training Center under the Manmunai South Eruvil Patru Divisional Secretariat.
At this center, 1-year training focusing on tailoring, handicraft production, and snack production is being conducted by the Divisional Secretariat under the supervision of the Mathar Development Officer. The post-training self-employment and employment guidance workshop for these trainees was successfully organized by the Mathar Development Officer in collaboration with the Amrida , which provides professional advice to post-training employment and entrepreneurs in the Batticaloa district, and the resource persons of the Vivekananda College of Technology.
Training to create job opportunities
The women who participated in the training were given a future plan after the training and guidelines for them, and after the training, they were discussed about their future job opportunities. In it, 90% of the women who participated expressed their desire to start a self-employment venture.
Subsequently, an explanation was given about the importance of the training, and important aspects such as selling their products in public markets (marketplaces), advertising through social media (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), and attracting customers were explained.
Ways to market products on social media
As an important aspect of this event, examples of how entrepreneurs can sell their products were explained with explanations.
In addition, explanations were given about branding to attract customers and the processes for starting a self-employment, special skills for that, and details were shared about how one becomes an entrepreneur through self-employment. In addition, clarification was given about what security measures to follow when using social media, and the dangers caused by technological devices.
Efforts to create entrepreneurs
The Director of Vivekananda College of Technology said, “Self-employment is an important aspect that can bring financial independence in one’s life.
