கடலுக்கு அடியில் தங்கப்புதையல்

கிழக்கு சீன கடல் பகுதியில், ஆசியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய கடலுக்கடியிலான தங்கப் படிமத்தை சீனா கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளது.

உலகிலேயே அதிகளவு தங்கத்தை உற்பத்தி செய்யும் நாடாக சீனா உள்ள போதிலும், தங்க கையிருப்பில், ஆபிரிக்கா மற்றும் அவுஸ்திரேலியாவுக்கு அடுத்த இடத்தில் உள்ளது.

2021 இல் இருந்து தங்கப் படிமங்களைக் கண்டுபிடிப்பதில் சீனா தீவிரம் காட்டி வருகிறது.

அதன்படி, வடகிழக்கு மாகாணமான லியானிங்கில், 14.44 இலட்சம் கிலோ தங்க இருப்பு கடந்தாண்டு கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது.

இதைத் தவிர, ஜின்ஜியாங் உய்குர் பிராந்தியத்தில் உள்ள மலையில், 10 இலட்சம் கிலோ தங்க இருப்பு கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது.

இந்நிலையில், ஷான்டாங் மாகாணத்தின் யாண்டாய் நகரில் உள்ள லைஜோ கடற்கரைக்கு அப்பால், கடலுக்கு அடியில் ஒரு பிரமாண்டமான தங்கப் படிமத்தை சீனா கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளது.

இது ஆசியாவின் கடலுக்கடியில் உள்ள மிகப்பெரிய தங்க இருப்பு எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது.

சமீபத்தில் கண்டறியப்பட்ட இந்த தங்க இருப்பின் வாயிலாக லைஜோவின் ஒட்டுமொத்த தங்க இருப்பு 39 இலட்சம் கிலோவுக்கும் அதிகமாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.

இது சீனாவின் தேசிய தங்க இருப்பில் தோராயமாக 26 சதவீதமாகும்.

இந்த கண்டுபிடிப்பின் வாயிலாக லைஜோ பகுதி, சீனாவின் தங்க இருப்பு மற்றும் தங்க உற்பத்தி ஆகிய இரண்டிலும் முதலிடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது என, வெளிநாட்டு ஊடகங்கள் செய்தி வெளியிட்டுள்ளன.

Gold Treasure Beneath the Sea

China has discovered Asia’s largest offshore gold deposit beneath the seabed in the East China Sea region.

Although China is the world’s largest producer of gold, it ranks after Africa and Australia in terms of gold reserves.

Since 2021, China has been intensifying efforts to discover new gold deposits.

Accordingly, last year a gold reserve of 1.444 million kilograms was discovered in Liaoning Province in the northeast.

In addition, a gold reserve of 1 million kilograms was found in a mountain in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Meanwhile, China has now discovered a massive gold deposit beneath the sea off the coast of Laizhou, near Yantai City in Shandong Province.

This is said to be Asia’s largest offshore gold reserve.

With this recent discovery, Laizhou’s total gold reserves have increased to more than 3.9 million kilograms.

This accounts for approximately 26 percent of China’s national gold reserves.

Foreign media reports state that as a result of this discovery, the Laizhou region has secured first place in China in both gold reserves and gold production.
