பாடசாலைகளை மூடுவது குறித்து கல்வி அமைச்சு வெளியிட்ட அறிவிப்பு

நாட்டில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள எரிபொருள் வரிசைகள் காரணமாக பாடசாலை நடவடிக்கைகளை நிறுத்தவோ அல்லது தொலைதூர கற்றல் முறைகளை அறிமுகப்படுத்தவோ இதுவரை எந்த முடிவும் எடுக்கப்படவில்லை என கல்வி அமைச்சு (MOE) தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இலங்கையில் எரிபொருள் விநியோகத்திற்கான QR குறியீட்டு முறை மீண்டும் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டதை தொடர்ந்து எரிபொருள் வரிசைகள் உருவாகியுள்ளதாக சுட்டிக்காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த நிலையில், பாடசாலைகளை மூடுவது தொடர்பாக இதுவரை எவ்வித தீர்மானமும் எடுக்கப்படவில்லை எனவும், கல்வி நடவடிக்கைகள் வழமை போன்று தொடரும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுவதாக இது குறித்து கல்வி அமைச்சின் வட்டாரங்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.

எனினும், நாட்டில் அத்தியாவசிய சேவைகளை பராமரிப்பதில் எழுந்துள்ள சவால்கள் குறித்து ஆராயும் பொருட்டு நேற்று (15) உயர்மட்ட கலந்துரையாடல் ஒன்று நடைபெற்றது.

இந்த கலந்துரையாடலில் கல்வி அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் நாலக கலுவெவ உள்ளிட்ட பல அமைச்சின் செயலாளர்கள் மற்றும் நிறுவனங்களின் தலைவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

மத்திய கிழக்கில் தீவிரமடைந்து வரும் போர் சூழல், எரிபொருள் விநியோகம் மற்றும் ஏனைய அத்தியாவசிய துறைகளில் ஏற்படுத்தக்கூடிய பாதிப்புகள் குறித்து இதன்போது விரிவாக ஆராயப்பட்டது.

அந்தவகையில், இக்கட்டான சூழ்நிலையிலும் பொது சேவைகளை தடையின்றி முன்னெடுப்பதை உறுதி செய்வது குறித்து இக்கூட்டத்தில் முக்கிய கவனம் செலுத்தப்பட்டமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Announcement Issued by the Ministry of Education Regarding the Closure of Schools

The Ministry of Education (Sri Lanka) (MOE) has stated that no decision has been taken so far to suspend school activities or introduce remote learning due to the fuel queues currently seen in the country.

It has been pointed out that fuel queues have formed following the reintroduction of the QR code system for fuel distribution in Sri Lanka.

In this context, sources from the Ministry of Education said that no decision has been made so far regarding the closure of schools, and it is expected that educational activities will continue as usual.

However, a high-level discussion was held yesterday (15) to examine the challenges that have arisen in maintaining essential services in the country.

The discussion was attended by several ministry secretaries and heads of institutions, including the Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Nalaka Kaluwewa.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding the possible impacts on fuel distribution and other essential sectors due to the intensifying war situation in the Middle East.

Accordingly, it is noteworthy that the meeting focused mainly on ensuring that public services continue without disruption despite the challenging situation.
