மட்டக்களப்பு கல்லடி பாலத்துக்கு அருகே முத்தமிழ் வித்தகர் சுவாமி விபுலானந்தரின் பதினைந்தடி உயரமான உருவச்சிலை திரைநீக்கம் செய்யப்பட உள்ளது.
சுவாமி விபுலானந்தர் துறவறம் பூண்ட நூற்றாண்டை முன்னிட்டு உலகெங்கும் அவரது துறவற வாழ்க்கையைப் பற்றியும் அவரது சேவைகளைப்பற்றியும் பல நிகழ்வுகள் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.
அந்த வகையில் மட்டக்களப்பு சுவாமி விபுலானந்தர் நூற்றாண்டு விழா சபையானது தனது பங்களிப்பாக கல்லடி பாலத்தின் அருகிலே அவரது திருவுருவச்சிலை ஒன்றை நடுவதற்கு முன்வந்து தற்பொழுது அந்த சிலை திரை நீக்கம் செய்ய ஏற்பாடு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்த அற்புதமான நிகழ்வு எதிர்வரும் 17/05/2025ம் திகதி சனிக்கிழமை அன்று பிற்பகல் 4.30 மணியளவில் ஆரம்பிக்கப்படவுள்ளது.
அந்த வகையிலே சனிக்கிழமை 4.30 மணியளவில் G.V வைத்தியசாலையின் முன்பாக விருந்தினர்களும் மக்களும் ஒன்றுகூடவேண்டி இருக்கிறது. அங்கிருந்து ஊர்வலமாக சென்று சுமார் 5 மணி அளவில் சுவாமிகளின் திருவுருவச்சிலை கொழும்பு இராமகிருஷ்ண மிஷன் தலைவர் சுவாமி அக்சராத்மானந்தாஜி மகராஜ் தலைமையில் திறந்து வைக்கப்படவுள்ளது. அதனை தொடர்ந்தது சுவாமி நீலமாதவானந்தஜி மகராஜ் அவர்கள், அவருக்கு மலர்மாலை அணிவித்தும் ஏனையோர் மலர்தூவிய பின்பும் நிகழ்வு நிறைவுபெறும்.
அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து மேடை நிகழ்வுகள் 5.30 மணியளவில் மைதானத்தில் ஆரம்பிக்கவுள்ளது. எனவே அனைத்து மக்களையும் அன்புடன் வருகை தந்து முத்தமிழ் வித்தகர் சுவாமி விபுலாந்தரின் சிலை திறப்புவிழாவில் கலந்து கொள்ளுமாறு அன்புடன் அழைத்து நிற்கிறார்கள் ஏற்பாட்டுக்குழுவினர்.

Unveiling Ceremony of the Statue of Muthtamil Scholar Swami Vipulananda in Batticaloa
A 15-foot-tall statue of the revered scholar of Tamil arts and literature, Swami Vipulananda, is set to be unveiled near the Kallady Bridge in Batticaloa.
In commemoration of the centenary of Swami Vipulananda’s ascetic life, various events are being organized around the world to highlight his life of renunciation and service to society.
As part of these commemorative efforts, the Batticaloa Swami Vipulananda Centenary Celebration Committee has taken the initiative to install his statue near the Kallady Bridge. The unveiling ceremony of this remarkable statue has been scheduled for Saturday, 17th May 2025 at 4:30 PM.
Guests and the public are requested to gather at 4:30 PM in front of G.V. Hospital, from where a procession will begin. The statue unveiling will take place at approximately 5:00 PM under the leadership of Swami Aksharatmananda, President of the Ramakrishna Mission, Colombo.
Following the unveiling, Swami Neelamadhavananda will garland the statue, and others will pay floral tribute. After this tribute, the formal ceremony will conclude.
Subsequently, attendees are invited to view the nearby images and displays, after which the stage events will commence at 5:30 PM at the venue.
The organizing committee warmly invites everyone to participate in this significant event and honor the legacy of Swami Vipulananda, the pioneer of Tamil knowledge and culture.
