BICT external Degree in South Eastern University of SriLanka

இலங்கை தென்கிழக்கு பல்கலைக்கழகம் தகவல் மற்றும் தொடர்பாடல் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் (BICT) வெளிவாரி பட்டப்படிப்பு 2023/2024 க்கான விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரியுள்ளது.

ஆர்வமுள்ள விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தங்கள் விண்ணப்பங்களை 2025 செப்டம்பர் 04 ஆம் திகதிக்கு முன்னர் சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் பின்வரும் தகுதிகளில் ஒன்றையாவது பூர்த்தி செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்:

எந்த ஓர் பிரிவிலாவது (ஒரே அமர்வில்) G.C.E. மேற்படிப்புத் தேர்வில் (A/L) மூன்று (03) தேர்ச்சி பெறல் மற்றும் பொது பொதுத் தேர்வில் குறைந்தது 30% பெறல். (விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் 2023 அல்லது அதற்கு முன் G.C.E. A/L தேர்வில் தோன்றியிருக்க வேண்டும்).
SLQF Level-2 (G.C.E. A/L) அல்லது அதற்கு இணையான தகுதிகள் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.

விண்ணப்பதாரரின் மேலதிக தகுதிகள்:

தமிழ்/சிங்களம், ஆங்கிலம், மற்றும் கணித பாடங்களில் குறைந்தபட்சம் கிரெடிட் (C) பாஸ் உட்பட ஆறு (06) பாடங்களில் தேர்ச்சி (இரண்டு (02) அமர்வுகளைத் தாண்டக்கூடாது)
பல்கலைக்கழகம் நடத்தும் திறன் தேர்வில் (Aptitude Test) தேர்ச்சி.

விலக்கு (Exemptions)

ICT துறையில் டிப்ளோமா அல்லது HND (SLQF Level-3 அல்லது Level-4) பெற்றவர்களுக்கு 1 அல்லது 2 வருடங்கள் விலக்கு (சில நிபந்தனைகளுடன்) வழங்கப்படும்.

குறிப்புகள்

கற்பித்தல் மொழி: ஆங்கிலம்.
குறைந்தபட்ச சேர்க்கை எண்ணிக்கை பூர்த்தியானால் மட்டுமே இந்தப் பட்டப்படிப்பு இடம்பெறும்.
சேர்க்கை நடைமுறை: Z-Score + திறன் தேர்வு + நேர்காணல்.
செலுத்தப்பட்ட கட்டணங்கள் எந்த சூழலிலும் திருப்பித் தரப்படாது.
காலம்: மூன்று (03) கல்வி ஆண்டுகள்.
பாடம் நடத்தும் முறை: கலப்பு (Hybrid) ( சில பாடங்கள் நேரடியாகவும் சில பாடங்கள் ஆன்லைனிலும் நடத்தப்படும்.)
09.06.2025 அன்று வெளியிடப்பட்ட முந்தைய விளம்பரத்தின் கீழ் ஏற்கனவே விண்ணப்பித்தவர்கள் மறுபடியும் விண்ணப்பிக்கத் தேவையில்லை.

South Eastern University of Sri Lanka – Applications for the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology (BICT) External Degree Programme 2023/2024

The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka has announced that applications are invited for the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology (BICT) External Degree Programme 2023/2024.

Interested applicants must submit their applications on or before 04th September 2025.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should fulfill one of the following qualifications:

Three (03) passes at the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in any stream (in one sitting) with a minimum of 30% in the Common General Test. (Applicants must have sat for the G.C.E. A/L Examination in 2023 or before).
Possess SLQF Level-2 (G.C.E. A/L) or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Requirements:

Six (06) passes at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination, including Tamil/Sinhala, English, and a Credit (C) pass in Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
A pass in the Aptitude Test conducted by the University.

Exemptions

Candidates who hold a Diploma or HND in ICT (SLQF Level-3 or Level-4) from a recognized institution may be granted exemptions from Year 1 or Year 2, subject to conditions.

Notes

Medium of Instruction: English.
The programme will be conducted only if the minimum required number of enrolments is achieved.
Admission Process: Z-Score + Aptitude Test + Interview.
Payments made will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Duration: Three (03) Academic Years.
Mode of Delivery: Hybrid (modules will be conducted both physically and online).
Applicants who have already applied under the previous advertisement dated 09.06.2025 need not re-apply.
