டெங்கு நுளம்பினால் மனிதர்களுக்கு செலவு

யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் டெங்கு நுளம்பு பரவும் வகையில் சுற்றுச் சூழலைப் பேணியவர்களுக்கு அபராதம் விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

தொண்டைமானாறு வல்வெட்டித்துறை நகர சபைக்கு உட்பட்ட பகுதியில் டெங்கு நோய் தொடர்பான சோதனை நடவடிக்கைகள் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டன.

இதன்போது குறித்த பகுதியில் டெங்கு நுளம்பு பரவக் கூடிய வகையில் சுற்றுச் சூழலைப் பேணிய 10 காணி உரிமையாளர்களுக்கு எதிராக பருத்தித்துறை நீதவான் நீதிமன்றில் வழக்கு தொடரப்பட்டது.

இந்த நிலையில், குறித்த 10 காணி உரிமையாளர்களும் தம் மீதான குற்றச்சாட்டை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதை அடுத்து, அவர்களுக்கு தலா 8 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வீதம் நீதிமன்றால் அபராதம் விதிக்கப்பட்டதுடன் எச்சரிக்கையும் விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Dengue Mosquito Breeding Leads to Fines

In Jaffna, several individuals have been fined for maintaining environments that allowed the breeding of dengue mosquitoes.

Inspections related to dengue prevention were carried out in areas under the Valvettithurai Urban Council in Thondaimanaru.

During the operation, 10 landowners were found to have maintained their premises in a way that encouraged dengue mosquito breeding. Cases were filed against them at the Point Pedro Magistrate’s Court.

After the landowners admitted to the charges, the court imposed a fine of 8,000 rupees each and issued them warnings.
