முட்டை விலை 10 ரூபாவால் குறைப்பு?

அகில இலங்கை சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர முட்டை உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் சங்கம் முட்டைகளின் விலையை 10 ரூபாவால் குறைக்க முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.

பாரிய அளவிலான உற்பத்தியாளர்களின் மாஃபியாவை கட்டுப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் இந்த முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டதாக சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் நவோத் சம்பத் பண்டார தெரிவித்தார்.

அதன்படி, வெள்ளை முட்டை ஒன்று 18 ரூபாவாகவும், பழுப்பு நிற முட்டை ஒன்று 20 ரூபாவாகவும் விற்கப்படும் என்று அவர் கூறினார்.

ஆனால், சந்தை நடத்தை பற்றிய புரிதல் இன்றி விலையைக் குறைப்பது ஆபத்தானது என்று அகில இலங்கை கோழி வியாபாரிகள் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் அஜித் குணசேகர எச்சரித்தார்.

Egg price reduced by 10 rupees?

The All-Island Small and Medium Egg Producers’ Association has decided to reduce the price of eggs by 10 rupees.

According to the association’s president, Navod Sampath Bandara, the decision was made with the aim of controlling the monopoly of large-scale producers.

Accordingly, the price of a white egg will now be 18 rupees, and a brown egg will be 20 rupees, he said.

However, Ajith Gunasekara, president of the All-Island Poultry Traders’ Association, warned that reducing prices without understanding market behavior could be risky.
