18 ரூபாய்க்கு முட்டையை விற்க முடியாது
அகில இலங்கை சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர முட்டை உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் சங்கம் முட்டை ஒன்றின் விலையை 10 ரூபாவினால் குறைக்க தீர்மானித்துள்ளது.
அதன்படி, வெள்ளை முட்டை ஒன்றின் விலை 18 ரூபாவாகவும், சிவப்பு முட்டை ஒன்றின் விலை 20 ரூபாவாகவும் விற்பனை செய்ய தீர்மானித்துள்ளதாக சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் நவோத் சம்பத் பண்டார தெரிவித்தார்.
இந்நிலையில் ஒரு முட்டையை பதினெட்டு ரூபாய்க்கு விற்பனை செய்ய முடியும் என கூறியமைக்கு எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து முட்டை உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் மற்றும் வர்த்தக சங்கங்கள் ஹெட்டிபொல பொலிஸ் நிலையத்தில் முறைப்பாடளித்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.
சந்தையில் முட்டை விலை குறையும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் வியாபாரிகளும், நுகர்வோரும் முட்டையை வாங்குவதை தவிர்த்து வருவதாகக் குறித்த சங்கங்கள் கூறியுள்ளன.
இருப்பினும், தற்போதைய உற்பத்தி செலவுகளைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, ரூ.18க்கு ஒரு முட்டையை விற்க முடியாது என்று அகில இலங்கை முட்டை வர்த்தகர்கள் சங்கத்தின் செயலாளர் அனுர மாரசிங்க தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இதேவேளை, டிசம்பர் வரை தட்டுப்பாடு இல்லாமல் முட்டைகளை விற்பனை செய்ய வாய்ப்பிருப்பதாக முட்டை உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் சங்கத்தின் செயலாளர் எச்.எம்.பி. அலஹகூன் கூறினார்.
அண்மையில் வெளியாகிய தகவல்களைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, முட்டை உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் நெருக்கடியை எதிர்கொண்டால், அதற்கு அரசாங்கமே பொறுப்பேற்க வேண்டும் என்று அவர் மேலும் கூறினார்.

Eggs Cannot Be Sold for 18 Rupees
The All-Island Small and Medium Egg Producers Association has decided to reduce the price of eggs by 10 rupees.
Accordingly, the price of a white egg has been set at 18 rupees and a red egg at 20 rupees, said the association’s president, Nawod Sampath Bandara.
However, in response to the statement that eggs could be sold at 18 rupees each, egg producers and trade associations have filed a complaint at the Hettipola Police Station.
The associations stated that both traders and consumers are refraining from buying eggs in the hope that prices will fall in the market.
Nevertheless, considering the current production costs, it is not possible to sell an egg for 18 rupees, said Anura Marasinghe, the secretary of the All-Island Egg Traders Association.
Meanwhile, the secretary of the Egg Producers Association, H.M.P. Alahakoon, mentioned that eggs could be supplied without any shortage until December.
He further said that if egg producers face difficulties in the near future, the government must take full responsibility for the situation.
