மோசடி மற்றும் ஸ்கேம் குறுஞ்செய்திகளால் ஐபோன்களை விட எண்ட்ரோய்ட் (Android) பயனர்கள் பாதிக்கப்படுவது 58% குறைவாக இருப்பதாக ஆய்வுகளில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
இந்த ஆய்வானது கூகுள் நிறுவனத்தால் YouGov என்ற நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து நடத்தப்பட்டது.
இதில் அமெரிக்கா, இந்தியா மற்றும் பிரேசில் ஆகிய மூன்று நாடுகளில் உள்ள 5,000க்கும் அதிகமான ஸ்மார்ட்போன் பயனர்கள் ஆய்வுக்கு உட்படுத்தப்பட்டனர்.

மாதத்திற்கு 10 பில்லியனுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட சந்தேகமான அழைப்புகள் அல்லது குறுஞ்செய்திகள் எண்ட்ராய்ட் சாதனங்கள் மூலம் தடுக்கப்படுகின்றன என்று கூகுள் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

iPhone Users More Affected by Scams Than Android Users
A recent study has revealed that Android users are 58% less likely to be affected by scam and fraud messages compared to iPhone users.
The study was conducted by Google in collaboration with YouGov, covering more than 5,000 smartphone users across the United States, India, and Brazil.
According to the findings, iOS (iPhone) users reported receiving three or more scam messages per week.
The reason, the report suggests, is that Android devices use AI-powered protections within apps like Google Messages and Phone by Google, which can detect and block fraudulent messages and calls.
Google stated that more than 10 billion suspicious calls and messages are blocked on Android devices every month.
However, since iOS lacks similar built-in protections, iPhone users are more vulnerable to spam and scam messages, Google added.
