மின்னல் தாக்கம் குறித்து எச்சரிக்கை

வடக்கு, வட மத்திய, கிழக்கு மாகாணங்களில் மாலை அல்லது இரவு வேளைகளில் இடியுடன் கூடிய மழை மற்றும் பலத்த மின்னல் தாக்கங்கள் ஏற்படும் வாய்ப்பிருப்பதாக வளிமண்டலவியல் திணைக்களம் எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளது. 

குறித்த பகுதியில் இடியுடன் கூடிய மழை பெய்யும்போது பலத்த காற்றும் வீசக்கூடும் எனவும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

மேலும் மின்னல் தாக்கங்களினால் ஏற்படும் ஆபத்துக்களை குறைப்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்குமாறும் திணைக்களம் அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Lightning Warning

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that thunderstorms and strong lightning strikes are likely to occur in the Northern, North Central and Eastern provinces in the evening or night.

It has also been stated that strong winds may also blow during the thunderstorms in the said area.

It is noteworthy that the Department has also advised to take measures to reduce the risks caused by lightning strikes.
