காலி, மாத்தறை, இரத்தினபுரி மற்றும் ஹம்பாந்தோட்டை மாவட்டங்களில் பிற்பகல் 2.00 மணிக்குப் பின்னர் சில இடங்களில் மழை அல்லது இடியுடன் கூடிய மழை பெய்யக்கூடும்.

மத்திய, சபரகமுவ மற்றும் ஊவா மாகாணங்களிலும், அம்பாறை மற்றும் ஹம்பாந்தோட்டை மாவட்டங்களிலும் காலை வேளையில் மூடுபனியுடன் கூடிய வானிலை நிலவக்கூடும் என்று வளிமண்டலவியல் திணைக்களம் எதிர்வு கூறியுள்ளது.

Low-Pressure System Moving Away from the Country

The Department of Meteorology has forecast that rainfall will decrease in the country today (Monday).

It has been stated that the low-pressure system prevailing in the atmosphere near the southwest Bay of Bengal is moving away from the country, leading to a reduction in rainfall.

However, heavy rainfall may still occur in the Northern, North Central, and North Western Provinces, as well as in the Trincomalee District, according to the Department of Meteorology.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places after 2.00 p.m. in the districts of Galle, Matara, Ratnapura, and Hambantota.

The Department further stated that misty conditions may prevail during the morning in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, and Uva Provinces, as well as in the districts of Ampara and Hambantota.
