Maatham oru kalam இளைஞர்களின் மாற்றத்திற்கான வலுவூட்டல் என்னும் தொனிப்பொருளில் சமூகத்தின் மாற்றத்திற்கான ஒரு செயற்பாடாக விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியினால் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்படுகின்ற ‘மாதம் ஒரு களம்’ எனும் செயற்பாடானது விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பில் கல்லூரியினால் மாதாந்தம் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றது.
அதனடிப்படையில், மாதம் ஒரு களம் செயற்பாடானது மண்முனை தென்மேற்கு பட்டிப்பளை பிரதேச செயலக பிரிவின் கீழ் உள்ள பெண்கள் முன்னேற்ற தொழில்திறன் பயிற்சி மையம் ஒன்றில் 23.01.2026 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை அன்று 25 பேர் கொண்ட Trailering NVQ level 4 பயிலுனர்களுக்கு இடம்பெற்றது.
திருமதி.மகாசூடி அரவிந்தன் (HRDO பட்டிப்பளை பிரதேச செயலகம்) அவர்களின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பின் கீழ் நடைபெற்ற இந்த நிகழ்வில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் தொழிற்பயிற்சி முகாமையாளர் திரு. சார்ல்ஸ் கிரேசியன் அவர்களால் தையல் பயிலுனர்களுக்குதெளிவூட்டல்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
இந்நிகழ்வின் போது பயிலுனர்களுக்கு தையல் தொழிலை கற்று சுயதொழில் மேற்கொள்வது மாத்திரமின்றி அதனை அடுத்த கட்டத்திற்கு கொண்டு செல்லுவது தொடர்பிலும் அதன் படி முறைகள் தொடர்பிலும் தெளிவூட்டப்பட்டதன் மூலம் எதிர்கலத்தில் அவர்கள் எவ்வாறு வணிகமொன்றை உருவாக்கி அதன் மூலம் அதிக இலாபம் ஈட்டுவது என்பது தொடர்பில் விளக்கமளிக்கப்பட்டது.

Maatham oru kalam
With the theme “Empowering Youth for Transformation,” the programme titled “Maatham Oru Kalam” is being implemented by the Vivekananda College of Technology as a social change initiative, in coordination with the Vivekananda Social Service Foundation. This programme is conducted on a monthly basis by the college.
Accordingly, the “Maatham Oru Kalam” programme was held on Friday, 23.01.2026, for 25 Traineering NVQ Level 4 trainees at a Women’s Development Vocational Training Centre located under the Manmunai South-West Pattipolai Divisional Secretariat Division.
The event was organised under the coordination of Mrs. Mahasoodi Aravindan (HRDO, Pattipolai Divisional Secretariat). During the programme, Mr. Charles Gracian, the Vocational Training Manager of Vivekananda College of Technology, provided awareness sessions and guidance to the tailoring trainees.
During the session, the trainees were not only educated on acquiring tailoring skills and engaging in self-employment, but were also guided on how to take their skills to the next level. They were informed about relevant procedures and strategies, and were explained how they could build a business in the future and generate higher profits through it.
The event was attended by Mrs. Mahasoodi Aravindan (HRDO, Pattipolai Divisional Secretariat), Mr. Charles Gracian, Vocational Training Manager of Vivekananda College of Technology, and 25 trainees.
