(New Year Event for Evening Class Students in Mavilangathurai )விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையானது சமூக மாற்றத்திற்கான செயற்பாடுகளூடாக பின்தங்கிய கிராமப்புறத்தில் வறுமைக் கோட்டின் கீழ் வாழும் குடும்பங்கள் மற்றும் பெண்கள் தலைமை தாங்கும் குடும்பங்கள், மாணவர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட அனைவருக்குமான பல்வேறு செயற்பாடுகளின் மூலம் மாற்றத்திற்கான வலுவூட்டலை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றது.
இந்நிலையில், மாவிலங்கத்துறை கிராமத்தில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரும் கல்வி மேம்பாட்டு செயற்பாடான ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் சிங்கள மாலை நேர வகுப்பில் பங்குபற்றும் மாணவர்களின் புதுவருட நிகழ்வும், அம் மாணவர்களுக்கு புதிய வருடத்தில் அவர்களின் பயிற்சி தொடர்வதற்கான அடையாள அட்டை வழங்கல் நிகழ்வும் 01.04.2025 அன்று இடம்பெற்றது.
நிகழ்வில், இச் செயற்பாட்டை கடந்த வருடம் முன்னோடியாக ஆரம்பித்து வைத்த இந்த கிராமத்தின் முன்னாள் கிராம சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர் திரு. பரிதிராஜ் அவர்களும், அதோடு விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளை நிறைவேற்று பணிப்பாளர் க. பிரதீஸ்வரன் அவர்களும், இதனை முன்னெடுத்து நடத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கின்ற சித்தி விநாயகர் ஆலய நிர்வாக சபை மற்றும் மாவிலங்கத்துறை சமூக நலன்புரி அமைப்பு ஆகியவற்றின் சமூகத் தொண்டர்கள், பெற்றோர், ஆசிரியர்கள் என அனைவரும் கலந்து சிறப்பித்தனர்.
மேலும், கடந்த காலங்களை விட இம்முறை கல்வி மேம்பாட்டு செயற்பாட்டில் உள்வாங்கப்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் சிங்கள பாடநெறிகளில் அதிக புள்ளிகளை பெற்றுள்ளனர். என்றும் மாணவர்களின் ஒழுக்கத்தில் ஆசிரியர்கள் மிகவும் கவனத்துடன் இருப்பதுடன் இந்த அடையாள அட்டை வழங்குவதுடன் தொடர்ச்சியாக இவர்களுக்கு என சீருடையினையும் வழங்கும் போது மேலும் சிறப்பாக இருக்கும் எனவும், இச்செயற்பாடுகளை தொடர்ந்து அம் மாணவர்களுக்கு மேற்கொள்ளும் போது, அவர்களுடைய சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சை பெறுபேறுகள் உயர்வடைய வாய்ப்பாக அமையும் என இதற்கு பொறுப்பான ஆசிரியர்களும், நடாத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கும் மாவிலங்கத்துறை சமூக நலன்புரி அமைப்பினரும் தெரிவித்தனர். இச் செயற்பாட்டிற்கு நிதியுதவியினை வழங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் இலண்டனில் வசிக்கும் திரு.சின்னத்தம்பி செந்தில்செல்வன் அவர்களிற்கும் நன்றி கூறப்பட்டது.

New Year Event for Evening Class Students in Mavilangathurai
The Vivekananda Social Foundation has been carrying out empowerment initiatives for social change through various programs aimed at underprivileged rural communities, families living below the poverty line, women-headed households, and students.
In this context, a New Year celebration for the students attending the English and Sinhala evening classes conducted in Mavilangathurai village, along with the distribution of identity cards for students to continue their training in the new year, was held on 01.04.2025.
The event was graced by the former Grama Sevaka Officer of the village, Mr. Parithiraj, who initiated this project last year, as well as the Executive Director of the Vivekananda Community Foundation, Mr. K. Pratheeswaran. Social volunteers from the Sithi Vinayagar Temple Management Committee and the Mavilangathurai Social Welfare Organization, along with parents and teachers, also participated and made the event a success.
Compared to previous years, students in the current educational development program have scored higher marks in English and Sinhala. Teachers are paying close attention to student discipline. The teachers and the Mavilangathurai Social Welfare Association mentioned that providing uniforms along with the new ID cards will further encourage the students. They believe that continuing these activities will help the students achieve better results in their O/L (Ordinary Level) examinations.
