இதன்படி, வடக்கு, வடமத்திய, கிழக்கு மற்றும் ஊவா மாகாணங்களிலும் மாத்தளை மற்றும் நுவரெலியா மாவட்டங்களிலும் மழை பெய்யும் என அந்த திணைக்களம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Possibility of Thunderstorms
The Department of Meteorology has forecast heavy rainfall in some parts of the country today (7).
According to the department, rain is expected in the Northern, North Central, Eastern, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Matale and Nuwara Eliya districts.
There is also a possibility of rain or thunderstorms after 1 p.m. in other areas of the country.
Fairly heavy showers exceeding 50 mm are expected in parts of the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
In this situation, the Department of Meteorology has advised the public to take the necessary safety precautions to minimize disasters that may occur during thunderstorms.
