Poultry Deaths Increase Due to Dry Weather நிலவும் வறட்சியான வானிலை காரணமாக கோழிப் பண்ணைகளில் உள்ள கோழிகள் இறக்கின்றமை அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக கால்நடை பண்ணை உரிமையாளர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

இலங்கை கால்நடை உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் அஜித் எச் குணசேகர இதனை தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

நிலவும் வெப்பநிலையைத் தாங்க முடியாது இறைச்சிக் கோழிகள் இறக்கின்றன.

அத்துடன் கோழிகளால் இடப்படும் முட்டைகளின் எண்ணிக்கையும் தற்போது குறைந்துள்ளது.

வெப்பநிலையைத் தாங்க முடியாததால் கோழிகள் முட்டையிடுவது சுமார் 20 சதவீதம் குறைந்துள்ளது.

Poultry Deaths Increase Due to Dry Weather

Poultry farm owners have reported an increase in chicken deaths due to the prevailing dry weather conditions.

This was stated by Ajith H. Gunasekara, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Livestock Producers’ Association.

Meat chickens are dying as they are unable to تحمل the current high temperatures.

In addition, the number of eggs laid by chickens has also decreased.

Due to the inability to withstand the heat, egg production has dropped by around 20%.
