மண்சரிவு எச்சரிக்கை விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள பகுதிகளில் உள்ள பாடசாலைகளுக்கே விடுமுறை வழங்கப்படவுள்ளதாக ஊவா மாகாண கல்வி பணிப்பாளர் எமது செய்திச்சேவைக்கு தெரிவித்தார்.
பதுளை மாவட்டத்தின் கந்தகெட்டிய, பசறை, பதுளை, லுணுகலை, ஹப்புத்தளை, எல்ல, பண்டாரவளை, ஹாலி – எல, வெளிமடை, மிகஹகிவுல மற்றும் ஊவா பரணகம ஆகிய பிரதேச செயலாளர் பிரிவுகளுக்கு தேசிய கட்டட ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவகம் மண்சரிவு அபாய எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளது.
இந்தநிலையிலேயே, குறித்த பிரதேச செயலாளர் பிரிவுகளில் உள்ள பாடசாலைகளுக்கு விடுமுறை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Some Schools to Close at 11.00 a.m. Today
The Uva Provincial Director of Education has announced that some schools in the Uva Province will be closed today before 11.00 a.m.
He stated that this holiday will be granted only to schools located in areas where landslide warnings have been issued.
The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide risk warnings for several Divisional Secretariat areas in the Badulla District, including Kandeketiya, Passara, Badulla, Lunugala, Haputale, Ella, Bandarawela, Hali-Ela, Welimada, Mahiyanganaya, and Uva Paranagama.
Accordingly, schools situated within these Divisional Secretariat areas have been declared closed.
