தீபாவளி பண்டிகையை முன்னிட்டு வரும், நீண்ட வார இறுதி நாட்களில் பயணிகளின் அதிகரித்த தேவையைப் பூர்த்தி செய்வதற்காக விசேட பேருந்து சேவைகளைத் தேசிய போக்குவரத்து ஆணைக்குழு அறிவித்துள்ளது.

அனைத்து போக்குவரத்து ஏற்பாடுகளும் கொழும்பில் உள்ள பெஸ்டியன் மாவத்தை பேருந்து முனையத்திலிருந்து ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்படும்.

குறிப்பாக, ஹட்டன், வெலிமடை, பதுளை, பசறை, வவுனியா மற்றும் யாழ்ப்பாணம் ஆகிய வழித்தடங்களில் பயணிகள் போக்குவரத்து அதிகரிக்கும் என தேசிய போக்குவரத்து ஆணைக்குழு எதிர்பார்க்கிறது.

தீபாவளி பண்டிகை காரணமாகப் பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த ஊர்களுக்குப் பயணம் செய்யத் திட்டமிடுவதால், இந்தச் சிறப்புச் சேவைகள் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

குறித்த சேவைகள் நாளை 17 ஆம் திகதி முதல் முன்னெடுக்கப்படவுள்ளதாக தேசிய போக்குவரத்து ஆணைக்குழு அறிவித்துள்ளது.

Special Bus Services Arranged for Deepavali Home Travel

In view of the Deepavali festival and the upcoming long weekend, the National Transport Commission has announced the launch of special bus services to meet the increased travel demand of passengers.

All transportation arrangements will be coordinated from the Bastian Mawatha Bus Terminal in Colombo.

In particular, the National Transport Commission expects an increase in passenger traffic along routes to Hatton, Welimada, Badulla, Passara, Vavuniya, and Jaffna.

As many people plan to travel to their hometowns for the Deepavali festival, these special services have been introduced.

According to the National Transport Commission, the special services will commence tomorrow, the 17th.
