Special Concession During the Fasting Period புனித ரமழான் நோன்பு காலத்தில் முஸ்லிம் மக்களுக்கு இலவசமாக விநியோகிப்பதற்காக அன்பளிப்பாகப் பெறப்படும் பேரீச்சம்பழங்களுக்கு வரிச் சலுகைகளை வழங்குவதற்கு அமைச்சரவை அங்கீகாரம் வழங்கியுள்ளது.

தூதரகங்கள், அமைப்புகள் மற்றும் தனிநபர்களிடமிருந்து ஆண்டுதோறும் அன்பளிப்பாக அல்லது நன்கொடையாகப் பெறப்படும் பேரீச்சம்பழங்களுக்கு இந்தச் சலுகை பொருந்தும்.

இவ்வாறான இறக்குமதிகள் வெளிநாட்டுச் செலாவணி அடிப்படையிலன்றி மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன.

இந்த ஆண்டு ரமழான் நோன்பு காலம் 2026 பெப்ரவரி 19 ஆம் திகதி ஆரம்பித்து, மார்ச் 21 ஆம் திகதி வரை நடைபெறும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

புத்தசாசன, சமய மற்றும் கலாசார அலுவல்கள் அமைச்சரினால் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த முன்மொழிவுக்கு அமைச்சரவை தனது பூரண அங்கீகாரத்தை வழங்கியுள்ளது.

Special Concession During the Fasting Period

The Cabinet has granted approval to provide tax concessions on dates received as gifts for free distribution to the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan.

This concession will apply to dates received annually as gifts or donations from embassies, organizations, and individuals.

Such imports are carried out without involving foreign exchange expenditure.

The Ramadan fasting period this year is expected to begin on 19 February 2026 and continue until 21 March 2026.

The proposal submitted by the Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious, and Cultural Affairs has received full approval from the Cabinet.
