மகா சிவராத்திரியை முன்னிட்டு கிழக்கு மாகாண பாடசாலைகளுக்கு விசேட விடுமுறை

மகா சிவராத்திரி இந்து மக்களால் அனுஷ்டிக்கப்படும் ஒர் சிவ விரதமாகும். இந்நாளில் பக்தர்கள் விரதம் இருந்து ஆலயங்களில் பஜனைகள் வழிபாடுகள் செய்து இரவு முழுவதும் பிரார்த்தனையில் ஈடுபடுவார்கள்.

இதனை முன்னிட்டு கிழக்கு மாகாணத்தின் அனைத்து தமிழ்மொழி மூல பாடசாலைகளுக்கும் 27 பெப்ரவரி 2025 அன்று விடுமுறை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

விடுமுறை நாளுக்கான மாற்றீடு 01 மார்ச் 2025 (சனிக்கிழமை) அன்று மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் எனவும் கிழக்கு மாகாண ஆளுநர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

Special Holiday for Eastern Province Tamil Schools in Observance of Maha Shivaratri

Maha Shivaratri is a significant Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Shiva, observed through fasting, temple prayers, devotional songs, and night-long worship. Devotees across the country engage in spiritual practices, seeking blessings and inner peace on this sacred occasion.

In light of this, the Eastern Provincial Government has declared a special holiday on February 27, 2025 (Thursday) for all Tamil-medium schools in the Eastern Province to allow students, teachers, and families to participate in religious observances.

To compensate for this holiday, classes will be rescheduled for March 1, 2025 (Saturday), as per the official announcement from the Governor of the Eastern Province.

Parents, students, and teachers are advised to take note of this adjustment and ensure attendance on the make-up day to maintain academic progress. Further details will be communicated through school administrations.
