Special Transport Plan for New Year சித்திரப் புத்தாண்டு பண்டிகையை முன்னிட்டு சொந்த ஊர்களுக்குச் செல்லும் பொதுமக்களின் நலன் கருதி விசேட போக்குவரத்துச் சேவைகளை முன்னெடுக்க போக்குவரத்து அதிகாரிகள் தீர்மானித்துள்ளனர்.
எதிர்வரும் ஏப்ரல் 9 ஆம் திகதி முதல் இந்த விசேட திட்டங்கள் அமுலுக்கு வருகின்றன.
இலங்கை போக்குவரத்துச் சபை ஏப்ரல் 9 முதல் விசேட பேருந்து சேவைகளை ஆரம்பிக்கவுள்ளது.
தூர இடங்களுக்குச் செல்வோருக்காக நாளொன்றுக்கு சுமார் 250 மேலதிக பேருந்துகள் சேவையில் ஈடுபடுத்தப்படவுள்ளன.
ஊர்களுக்குச் செல்வதற்காக ஏப்ரல் 09 முதல் 13 வரை மீண்டும் கொழும்பு திரும்புவதற்காக ஏப்ரல் 17 முதல் 21 வரை தேவைக்கேற்ப மேலதிக பேருந்துகளை உடனடியாக சேவையில் இணைப்பதற்கும் தயார் நிலையில் உள்ளதாக சபை அறிவித்துள்ளது.
தனியார் பேருந்து சேவைகளை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தும் தேசிய போக்குவரத்து ஆணைக்குழுவும், எதிர்வரும் 9 ஆம் திகதி முதல் விசேட நடவடிக்கைகளை ஆரம்பிக்கிறது. பயணிகளின் வருகை மற்றும் தேவைக்கேற்ப போதுமான அளவு மேலதிக பேருந்துகளை வழங்க ஆணைக்குழு இணங்கியுள்ளது.
பேருந்துகளுக்கு இணையாக புகையிரத திணைக்களமும் விசேட சேவைகளை அறிவித்துள்ளது.
ஏப்ரல் 10 ஆம் திகதி முதல் விசேட புகையிரதங்கள் சேவையில் ஈடுபடும்.
கரையோர மார்க்கம், வடக்கு மார்க்கம் மற்றும் பிரதான மார்க்கங்களில் தற்போதுள்ள புகையிரதங்களுக்கு மேலதிகமாக இந்தச் சேவைகள் இடம்பெறவுள்ளன.
பண்டிகை காலங்களில் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசலைக் குறைக்கவும், பயணிகள் சிரமமின்றி பயணிக்கவும் இந்த ஒருங்கிணைந்த போக்குவரத்து ஏற்பாடுகள் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
பயணிகள் முன்கூட்டியே தங்களது ஆசனங்களை பதிவு செய்துகொள்வதன் மூலம் பயணச் சிரமங்களைத் தவிர்க்கலாம் என அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

Special Transport Plan for New Year
Transport authorities have decided to implement special transport services for the benefit of the public traveling to their hometowns for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festival.
These special plans will come into effect from April 9.
The Sri Lanka Transport Board will begin special bus services from April 9.
Around 250 additional buses will be deployed daily for long-distance यात्रers.
Additional buses will also be ready to operate as needed from April 9 to 13 for outbound यात्रers and from April 17 to 21 for those returning to Colombo, according to the board.
The National Transport Commission, which regulates private bus services, will also commence special operations from April 9. The commission has agreed to provide sufficient additional buses based on passenger demand.
Alongside buses, the Railway Department has also announced special services.
Special trains will operate from April 10.
These services will run in addition to existing trains on coastal, northern, and main railway lines.
These coordinated transport arrangements have been made to reduce congestion during the festive season and to ensure convenient travel for passengers.
Passengers are advised to reserve their seats in advance to avoid travel difficulties.
