Weather Change நாட்டின் பெரும்பாலான பிரதேசங்களில் இன்றைய தினம் (16) பிரதானமாக சீரான வானிலை நிலவும் என வளிமண்டலவியல் திணைக்களம் எதிர்வு கூறியுள்ளது.

எனினும், நாட்டின் சில பகுதிகளில் அதிகாலை வேளையில் பனிமூட்டமான நிலை எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுவதாக திணைக்களம் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

குறிப்பாக மேல், சபரகமுவ, மத்திய, வடமேல் மற்றும் வடமத்திய மாகாணங்களிலும் காலி மற்றும் மாத்தறை மாவட்டங்களிலும் சில இடங்களில் அதிகாலை வேளையில் பனிமூட்டமான நிலை காணப்படும் என வளிமண்டலவியல் திணைக்களம் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது.

அதிகாலை வேளையில் நிலவும் பனிமூட்டம் காரணமாக வீதிப் போக்குவரத்துப் பாதிப்புகள் ஏற்படக்கூடும் என்பதால், வாகனச் சாரதிகள் அவதானத்துடன் செயற்படுமாறு காவல்துறையினர் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளனர்.

Weather Change

The Department of Meteorology has forecast that generally fair weather will prevail across most parts of the country today (16).

However, according to a statement issued by the Department, misty conditions are expected in some areas during the early morning hours.

In particular, misty conditions are likely to occur in several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North Western, and North Central Provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts, the Department of Meteorology stated.

Due to the misty conditions during the early morning, road traffic disruptions may occur. Therefore, the Police have requested motorists to exercise caution while driving.
