இந்த நிலையில் நாளை முதல் ஷொப்பின் பைகள் வழங்கப்படாது என ஏற்கனவே வர்த்தமானியும் வெளியிடப்பட்டிருந்ததாக அந்த அதிகார சபை குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது.
அதன்படி ஷொப்பின் பைகள் உள்ளிட்ட பொலித்தீன் பைகளுக்கு நாளை முதல் கட்டாயம் பணம் அறவிடப்பட வேண்டும் என நுகர்வோர் விவகார அதிகார சபை அறிவித்துள்ளது.

When purchasing goods from commercial outlets, shopping bags will not be given for free starting tomorrow, according to an announcement made by the Consumer Affairs Authority.
The authority further stated that the price of shopping bags provided to customers must be included in the price list from tomorrow onwards.
It was also noted that a gazette notification had already been issued regarding the discontinuation of free shopping bags from tomorrow.
Accordingly, the Consumer Affairs Authority has announced that a mandatory charge must be imposed for shopping bags, including polythene bags, starting tomorrow.
