புதிய பாடசாலை வவுச்சர் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, இலங்கை புடவை மற்றும் ஆடை கைத்தொழில் நிறுவகத்தின் மேற்பார்வையின் கீழ் One-Year Warranty Shoes for Students தரத்தை உறுதிசெய்து, ஓராண்டு உத்தரவாதத்துடன் கூடிய பாதணிகளை கைத்தொழில் அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சு வழங்கவுள்ளது.
கல்வி அமைச்சு மற்றும் கைத்தொழில் அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சு இணைந்து தொடங்கிய இந்த முயற்சி, 250இற்கும் குறைவான மாணவர்களைக் கொண்ட பாடசாலைகள், 251–500 மாணவர்களைக் கொண்ட தோட்டப் பாடசாலைகள், விசேட தேவையுடைய பாடசாலைகள் ஆகியவற்றில் உள்ள மாணவ/மாணவிகளுக்கு உள்நாட்டில் உற்பத்தி செய்யப்பட்ட பாதணிகளை வழங்குவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் பாதணிகளை நேரடியாகப் பாடசாலைகளுக்கு விற்பனை செய்யவுள்ளதால், மாணவர்கள் சரியான அளவில் பொருந்தக்கூடிய பாதணிகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் வாய்ப்பைப் பெறுவார்கள்.
மேல் மற்றும் தென் மாகாணங்களில் உள்ள பாடசாலைகள் இந்த முன்னோடித் திட்டத்திற்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
இதன் சாத்தியக்கூறு ஆய்வுக்குப் பிறகு, இந்தத் திட்டம் ஏனைய மாகாணங்களுக்கும் விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
One-Year Warranty Shoes for Students
As part of the new school voucher program, the Ministry of Industries will distribute shoes with a one-year warranty, ensuring quality under the supervision of the Sri Lanka Institute of Textile and Apparel.
This initiative, launched jointly by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industries, aims to provide locally manufactured shoes to students of schools with fewer than 250 students, estate schools with 251–500 students, and special-needs schools.
Since manufacturers will sell the shoes directly to the schools, students will have the opportunity to choose shoes that fit them correctly.
Schools in the Western and Southern Provinces have been selected for this pilot project.
After conducting a feasibility study, the program is expected to be expanded to other provinces.
