Apple Offers Assistance to Sri Lanka
Apple, one of the world’s leading technology companies, has announced that it will donate funds to support people affected by disasters in several Asian countries.
The donation is expected to provide relief to those affected by building fires in Hong Kong, and severe storms and floods across Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.
Apple CEO Tim Cook released a message regarding this on social media.
“Storms sweeping through Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka have caused devastating damage. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we will be contributing to relief and rebuilding efforts,” he stated.
