டிட்வா சூறாவளியின் பின்னர் மூடப்பட்ட அனைத்து பாடசாலைகளும் இன்று(16) திறக்கப்பட்டாலும் மீண்டும் பண்டிகையை முன்னிட்டு மூடப்படும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இதன்படி, இன்று(16) திறக்கப்படும் பாடசாலைகள் எதிர்வரும் 22 ஆம் திகதி முதல் 28 ஆம் திகதி வரை கிறிஸ்துமஸ் பண்டிகைக்காக மீண்டும் மூடப்படவுள்ளன.
மீண்டும் 29 ஆம் திகதி கல்வி நடவடிக்கைகள் ஆரம்பிக்கப்படவுள்ளன.
இதனையடுத்து அனைத்து பாடசாலைகளும் மீண்டும் ஜனவரி மாதம் 12 ஆம் திகதி முதல் 20 ஆம் திகதி வரை மூடப்படவுள்ளதாகக் கல்வி அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இடைநிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள கல்விப் பொதுத்தராதர உயர்தரப் பரீட்சையை கருத்திற்கொண்டு இந்த விடுமுறை வழங்கப்படவுள்ளதாக அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
அத்துடன், கல்விப் பொதுத்தராதர சாதாரண பரீட்சையை கருத்திற்கொண்டு எதிர்வரும் பெப்ரவரி மாதம் 14 ஆம் திகதி முதல் மார்ச் மாதம் 02 ஆம் திகதி வரை மீண்டும் பாடசாலைகள் மூடப்படவுள்ளன.
2025 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான அனைத்து தவணைப் பரீட்சைகளும் இரத்து செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாகக் கல்வி அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்கள் மீதான மன அழுத்தத்தைக் குறைக்கும் வகையில் இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
பாடசாலைகள் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டதன் பின்னர், மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்கள் பாடசாலைக்கான உரிய ஆடைகளை அணிய வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை எனவும் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அத்துடன், பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பகுதியில் உள்ள மாணவர்கள் வழக்கமான தமது பாடசாலைக்குச் செல்வது அவசியமில்லை எனவும் தமது வீட்டுக்கு அருகிலுள்ள பாடசாலைகளுக்குச் செல்ல முடியும் எனவும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
Schools Reopening Today, to Close Again on the 22nd
It has been announced that although all schools that were closed following Cyclone Ditva will reopen today (16), they will be closed again in view of the festive season.
Accordingly, the schools reopening today (16) will be closed once more from 22nd to 28th December for the Christmas festival.
Educational activities will resume again on 29th December.
Thereafter, all schools will be closed again from 12th January to 20th January, according to the Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
He stated that this vacation has been granted considering the rescheduled G.C.E. Advanced Level examination.
In addition, taking into account the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination, schools will once again be closed from 14th February to 2nd March.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Education also announced that all term examinations scheduled for the year 2025 have been cancelled.
This decision has been taken with the aim of reducing mental stress among students and teachers.
Furthermore, it was stated that after schools reopen, students and teachers are not required to wear the prescribed school uniforms.
It was also announced that students in affected areas are not required to attend their regular schools, and they may attend schools located closer to their homes instead.
