210 மில்லியன் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முந்தைய டைனோசர் கால்தடங்களே கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

அவை ‘ப்ரொசாரோபாட்ஸ்’ வகையைச் சேர்ந்தவை என்று ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் நம்புகின்றனர்.

கால்தடங்கள் இருக்கும் பாறைகளை நடந்தே சென்றடைவது கடினமாக இருப்பதால்,விஞ்ஞானிகள் அவற்றை ஆராய ஆளில்லா விமானங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர்.

இங்குக் கிட்டத்தட்ட 20,000 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கால்தடங்கள் இருக்கலாம் எனக் கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இது ஐரோப்பாவிலேயே மிக முக்கியமான மற்றும் மிகப்பெரிய டைனோசர் தடயங்கள் உள்ள இடங்களில் ஒன்றாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

Discovery of Thousands of Dinosaur Footprints

Thousands of dinosaur footprints have been discovered in Stelvio National Park in northern Italy.

The footprints are believed to be over 210 million years old.

Researchers think the tracks belong to a group of dinosaurs known as Prosauropods.

Since the rocky terrain containing the footprints is difficult to access on foot, scientists are using drones to study and document them.

It is estimated that there may be more than 20,000 footprints at the site.

This discovery is considered one of the most significant and largest dinosaur track sites in Europe.
