விவேகாந்தர் ஜெயந்தி: ஆரோக்கியசோலை விவசாயப்பண்ணை ஆரம்பம்

மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது இளைஞர்களின் மாற்றத்திற்கான வலுவூட்டல் எனும் தொனிப்பொருளில் பல்வேறுபட்ட செயற்பாடுகளை முன்னெடுத்து மாற்றத்தினை ஏற்படுத்துவது மட்டுமன்றி இயற்கை அன்னையினை பாதுகாக்கும் நோக்கில் பல்வேறுபட்ட செயற்றிட்டங்களை 13 வருடங்களாக சமூகத்தில் மத்தியில் சிறப்பான முறையில் மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றமை குறிப்பிடதக்க விடயமாகும்.

அந்த வகையில் இன்று 12.01.2025 அன்று விவேகாந்தரின் ஜெயந்தி தினத்தினை முன்னிட்டு கல்லூரியில் விசேட பூஜை செய்யப்பட்டதோடு இயற்கையோடு இணைந்த ஆரோக்கியசோலை விவசாயப்பண்ணைக்கான ஆரம்பகட்ட நிகழ்வுகளும் நடைபெற்றது.

விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியுடன் ஒருங்கிணைந்த இயற்கை விவசாய பண்ணையான ஆரோக்கிய சோலையில் மரக்கறிகள் மற்றும் பழ மரங்கள் நடப்பட்டதுடன் இயற்கை உரம் தயாரிப்பதற்கான செயற்பாடுகளும் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.

இந்நிகழ்வில் கல்லூரியின் நிறைவேற்றுப்பணிப்பாளர் திரு.க.பிரதீஸ்வரன் அவர்களின் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் த.சந்திரசேகரம், கல்லூரியின் வளவாளர்கள், போதனாசிரியர்கள், SWO அமைப்பின் சேவையாளர்கள், அமிர்தா நிறுவனத்தின் ஊழியர்கள் ஆகியோர் மரங்களை நட்டு இயற்கையோடு இணைந்த பயணத்தில் தம்மை இணைந்துக்கொண்டனர்.

Vivekananda Jayanti: Launch of the “Aarokya Solai” Organic Farm

For the past 13 years, the Vivekananda College of Technology in Batticaloa District has been carrying out various initiatives under the theme of empowering youth for transformation, not only creating positive change among young people but also implementing several projects aimed at protecting Mother Nature.

Accordingly, on 12.01.2025, in celebration of Vivekananda Jayanti, a special puja was held at the college, along with the initial activities for the launch of the nature-based Aarokya Solai organic farm.

At the Aarokya Solai, an integrated natural farming project of the Vivekananda College of Technology, vegetable plants and fruit trees were planted, and activities to produce organic fertilizer were also initiated.

The event was held under the leadership of the Executive Director of the College, Mr. K. Pratheeswaran. The Principal of the College, Mr. T. Chandrasekaram, college staff, teachers, SWO organization volunteers, and employees of the Amritha Company took part in planting trees and joined hands in this journey of harmony with nature.
