Career-FIT & IT Course: Orientation for New Students at Karaithivu Vivekananda Community College மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது அரச அங்கீகாரத்துடனான சான்றிதழ்களை (NVQ) வழங்குவதன் மூலம் இளைஞர்களுக்கு தொழில்திறன்களை வழங்கி, அவர்களின் வெற்றிப் பாதையினை அமைத்துக்கொள்வதற்கு மட்டுமல்லாது, வாழ்க்கைத்திறன் பயிற்சிகளினூடாக இளைஞர்களுக்கான வழிகாட்டல்களை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் அவர்களை சாதனையாளர்களாக மாற்றுவதில் கடந்த 12 ஆண்டுகளாக மகத்தான சேவையினை வழங்கி வருகின்றது.
அந்த வகையில், “வாழ்வியலும் வழிகாட்டலும்” என்ற தொனிப்பொருளில் கிராமங்கள் தோறும் சமுதாய கல்லூரிகளை அமைக்கும் VCOT இன் ஒரு செயற்பாட்டில் காரைதீவு விவேகானந்த சமுதாயக் கல்லூரியின் careerfit and IT பாடநெறிக்கான 3ஆவது தொகுதி பயிலுநர்களுக்கான அறிமுக நிகழ்வு இன்று திங்கட்கிழமை (19.01.2026) நடைபெற்றது.
இதேவேளை, விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரி மற்றும் இராமகிருஷ்ண மிஷன் இணைந்து நடாத்திவரும் இந்த செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு Manitha Neyam Trust நிறுவனமானது நிதி அனுசரணை வழங்கி வருகின்றது.
இந்நிகழ்வில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரி பற்றிய அறிமுகமும், கல்லூரியின் செயற்பாடுகள் தொடர்பிலும் careerfit and IT பாடநெறியுடன் இணைந்த life skill development தொடர்பில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் தொழிற்பயிற்சி முகாமையாளர் திரு. சார்ல்ஸ் கிரேசியன் அவர்களால் தெளிவூட்டப்பட்டதோடு, கல்லூரியின் செயற்றிட்ட முகாமையாளர் திருமதி.ஹ.கிந்துஜா அவர்களும் இணைந்து தெளிவூட்டல்களை வழங்கியதுடன், தொழில்வாய்ப்புகள் தொழில்வாய்ப்புகள் பற்றியும் தொழில்நுட்பம் எதிர்காலத்தில் எவ்வாறு மனித வாழ்க்கையில் தாக்கம் செலுத்தும் என்பது தொடர்பிலும் தெளிவூட்டப்பட்டது.
இந்நிகழ்வில் 25க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டமை சிறப்பம்சமாகும்.
இன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில் இளைஞர்கள் தமது இலக்கினை அடையாளம் கண்ட போதிலும், அதனை உரிய காலகட்டத்தினுள் அடைவது பற்றிய தெளிவூட்டல் இன்மையினால் பல இன்னல்களை எதிர்கொள்கின்றனர்.
அதனடிப்படையில், திறமைகள் இருந்த போதிலும் குடும்பப் பின்னணி மற்றும் சரியான வழிகாட்டல்கள் இல்லாது காணப்படும் இளைஞர்களை மையப்படுத்தியதாக அடிப்படை கணினி, ஆங்கில அறிவு மற்றும் வாழ்க்கைத்திறன் போன்ற திறன்களை உள்ளடக்கியதாக careerfit and IT என்னும் பாடநெறியினை அறிமுகப்படுத்தி, அவர்களின் இலக்கினை அடையாளப்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் அவர்களை சமூகத்தின் மத்தியில் சாதனையாளர்களாக மிளிரச் செய்வதில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது பத்து வருடங்களுக்கும் மேலாக பெரும் பங்காற்றி வருகின்றது.

Career-FIT & IT Course: Orientation for New Students at Karaithivu Vivekananda Community College
In the Batticaloa District, Vivekananda College of Technology has been rendering commendable service for the past 12 years by providing government-recognized (NVQ) certifications to empower youth with vocational skills. Beyond paving the way for their professional success, the institution also guides young people through life skills training, helping them grow into achievers.
In this context, under the theme “Life Skills and Guidance,” and as part of VCOT’s initiative to establish community colleges across villages, the orientation programme for the third batch of trainees of the Career-FIT & IT course at Karaithivu Vivekananda Community College was held today, Monday (19.01.2026).
Meanwhile, these programmes, jointly conducted by Vivekananda College of Technology and the Ramakrishna Mission, continue to receive financial sponsorship from Manitha Neyam Trust.
During the event, an introduction to Vivekananda College of Technology and its activities was provided. In addition, the life skill development component linked with the Career-FIT & IT course was clearly explained by the Vocational Training Manager of Vivekananda College of Technology, Mr. Charles Gracian, with further clarifications jointly delivered by the Programme Manager, Mrs. H. Kinduja. Participants were also briefed on employment opportunities and on how technology is expected to impact human life in the future.
The participation of more than 25 students was a notable highlight of the event.
In the present era, although many young people are able to identify their goals, the lack of clarity on achieving them within the appropriate timeframe leads to numerous challenges.
Accordingly, focusing on youth who possess talents but lack strong family backgrounds and proper guidance, the Career-FIT & IT course has been introduced, incorporating skills such as basic computer knowledge, English proficiency, and life skills. By helping students identify their goals, Vivekananda College of Technology has been playing a significant role for over a decade in enabling them to shine as achievers within society.
