ஆரோக்கிய சோலையை பார்வையிட்ட கல்லூரியின் பயிலுனர்கள்

மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தில் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது “இளைஞர்களின் மாற்றத்திற்கான வலுவூட்டல்” எனும் தொனிப்பொருளில் பல்வேறுபட்ட செயற்பாடுகளை முன்னெடுத்து மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவதுடன், இயற்கை அன்னையை பாதுகாக்கும் நோக்கில் பல்வேறு செயற்றிட்டங்களை கடந்த 13 வருடங்களாக சமூகத்தின் மத்தியில் சிறப்பான முறையில் மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்க விடயமாகும்.

இவ்வாறு தன்னலமற்ற சேவையை வழங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது, தற்போதைய நவீன யுகத்திலும் கூட இரசாயனப் பயன்பாடு இல்லாத இயற்கை முறை விவசாயத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கும் நோக்குடனும், எதிர்கால சமூகத்தின் அடிப்படையாக விளங்கும் கல்லூரியில் கல்வி பயிலும் இளைஞர் யுவதிகளுக்கு விவசாயத்தின் மீதான ஆர்வத்தைத் தூண்டும் நோக்குடனும் இந்தச் செயற்பாட்டிற்கான முன்னுதாரணமாக விளங்குவதற்காக கல்லூரியுடன் ஒருங்கிணைந்த இயற்கை விவசாயப் பண்ணையான “ஆரோக்கிய சோலை” உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்நிலையில், 13.03.2026 அன்று கல்லூரியின் பயிலுனர்களுக்கு குறித்த விவசாயப் பண்ணையை பார்வையிட அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டதுடன், இந்தப் பண்ணையின் செயற்பாடுகள் தற்போது ஆரம்ப கட்ட நிலையில் இருப்பதுடன் மேலும், இவற்றின் வளர்ச்சியை கல்லூரியின் பயிலுனர்கள் ஆர்வத்துடன் பார்வையிட்டதுடன், விவசாயம் மற்றும் இயற்கை உரம் தயாரிப்பது தொடர்பிலும் அதன் சவால்கள் தொடர்பிலும் தங்கள் சந்தேகங்களை வெளிப்படுத்தினர். இதற்கான விளக்கங்களை கல்லூரியின் நிறைவேற்றுப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.க.பிரதீஸ்வர் அவர்கள் வழங்கியமை சிறப்பம்சமாகும்.

College Trainees Visit Arokkiya Solai

In the Batticaloa District, Vivekananda Technical College, under the theme “Empowering Youth for Transformation,” has been implementing various activities aimed at bringing about positive change. In addition, the institution has been carrying out several projects for the protection of Mother Nature, and it is noteworthy that these initiatives have been successfully conducted within the community for the past 13 years.

The Vivekananda Technical College, which has been providing such selfless service, has also taken steps in this modern era to promote natural farming methods without the use of chemicals. With the objective of encouraging interest in agriculture among the young men and women studying at the college—who represent the foundation of the future society—the college has established a natural farming garden named “Arokkiya Solai” in collaboration with the institution, serving as a model initiative for this activity.

In this regard, on 13.03.2026, the trainees of the college were given the opportunity to visit the said farming garden. It was noted that the activities of this farm are currently in the initial stage. The trainees observed the development of the farm with great interest and raised questions regarding agriculture, the preparation of natural fertilizers, and the challenges involved. Explanations for these queries were provided by the Executive Director of the college, Mr. K. Pratheeswar, which was highlighted as a special feature of the event.
